To me he is the best scorer in the league but not the best player.

Come on, can we stop with the "Durant can only score" nonsense. Durant is a solid defender and an elite rebounder at the SF position. He'll never have LeBron's court vision and doesn't yet possess a post-up game like Carmelo. Yet, his shooting touch is light years ahead of either of those guys. He's also extremely "clutch" and isn't afraid of the big moments.

Durantula is definitely the 2nd best player in the NBA. Doesn't mean he's on the best team.

yeah to be honest, the scoring is not the problem. Thunder need to figure out a way to get a damn stop. They looked like they had something going in the 4th, then Manu went off and that was the ball game. But that fourth quarter adjustment with the switches might can work for them in game 3.

If they can just stay in the game long enough and avoid any 15+ point runs, they will have their shot.

Did Durant really only take two shots in the 4th for the second straight game?

              Sounds off

That won't work, Tim on the low post is imo more dangerous then the pick and roll. Ibaka can't guard Duncan. They would eventually be forced to double team Duncan and he kick it out for 3s and etc..

OKC needs to address Westbrook and tell him they need the triple double Russ not 10-24 shooting Russ. He had 8 assist but he needs more. Collapse the D, kick out or find a cutter. He needs to take on the challenge of guarding Parker and stop trying to answer with walk up jumpers.

                Durant needs more shots.

Sefolosha needs to play more minutes and needs to guard Manu. Stick a body on him and ride him through screens.

Team defense overall need to be better. 55% shooting will kill you every time. Play 1 on 1 defense and force lessor players to make plays. But bottom line Russ has to step up his defense. And someone needs to stick Manu.

Honestly I'm scared a Lebron vs Durant matchup won't happen. Thunder seem content losing this game since they have two straight games home. IDC that they came back, I think that more of a break in rhythm thing because of the hacking.

I just want see 'some nasty' out of him. I want to see him sweat, be mad, be angry, be aggressive. He's incredibly consistent but does he have another gear?

And yes of course he can rebound, he's 6'10.

People would be going off had this been Lebron.

I wish Durant would get a little Kobe in him and demand the ball and try to put the team on his back.

In these last two games, Westbrook and Harden have been more aggressive in the fourth.

This isnt the first time either. I remember thinking this last year too in the playoffs. There were many games where Durant seemed content with just letting Westbrook take the reigns in the fourth.

He's isn't enough emotionnaly involved into games. That's why he's so clutch but at the same time he really doesn't step up to that 3rd or 4th gear that some players like Kobe, Harden, Garnett, Wade, James and others have.

Maybe it is the dark side of the cold blooded 'attribute'. Well to me anyway.

Durant isn't a killer. He's a scorer and nothing more.

And once again, credit is not being given to the Spurs' Defense.

People look at the boxscore, check the number of shots and all of a sudden, they're not being aggressive.

Ever think that maybe the Spurs decided they weren't going to let Durant go off on them in the 4th like he has on other teams and would take their chances with Westbrook jacking up 30 shots and letting Harden trying to beat the Spurs by himself?

Just something to think about before gassing up the 'Well, if this was Lebron he'd get killed but because it's Durant, nobody says nothing' hype mobile

I was the one mentionning Spurs awesome defense of gm1 when people where just talking about how the coach had made a mistake and people on the floor wheren't taking good decision.

I'am beeing very general about Durant here, just saying I've never saw him sweat, be mad in thoses kind of moments. He's always the same whatever the game, whatever the moment.

I'll take my chances with Tim on the low post at this point in his career. Westbrook needs help on the pick and roll from his big man. It's not like Parker is blowing by him without picks. He can't magically go through people. LOL

Manu got a couple questionable calls at the end when OKC got close. In OKC those will go the other way.
