Derrick Rose. Ever since I seen him play at Memphis, he's been pretty much unstoppable. His scoring ability allows for his teammates to get pretty wide open shots once the D collapses. Also, he does pass, so a scoring PG that gets his teammates involved should be easier to build around -- something the Bulls have proven with their pick of Rose.

      1. Rose
      2. Paul
      3. Rondo
      4. Westbrook
      5. Williams
      6. Parker
      7. Nash

I would rate Nash higher, but he's 38. You can't build a team around someone that is only going to be around for another year or two.

Rondo has had a great playoff series but let's not get too carried away, at the end of the day he's a good point guard who is helped tremendously by the three Hall of Famers around him. I don't think Rondo as the centerpiece of your team would excel at all. He shot the ball well this postseason but he's a guy teams routinely give about 10 feet to.
I disagree. To me, he's an elite guard who helps the slow, tired, and aging Hall of Famers around him, who really don't even play like Hall of Famers a lot of the time. Without Rondo running the show, Boston's already bad offense drops down to absolutely terrible levels and that's really no coincidence.

Since Rose is now an extreme risk due to his injuries this past season, I have to throw my vote to Rondo. Its a no-brainer with how well he has played this season. He isn't the best PG in the league, but hes young, a leader, an excellent defender, never gives up on any play, wills his senior citizen teammates to victories, makes his teammates better, and most important of all is still young and improving every season. He doesn;t need to shoot every other possession to be effective either. Plays the game at an incredible pace and gets my vote for sure.

Went with the homer pick and chose Rondo.

This series has made me question Rondos defense a bit. Chalmers has been getting in the lane basically whenever he wants to.

I'd go with Irving or a fairly uncommon choice this far: Steph Curry.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

His defense is great when he's really trying but he lets his man get past him sometimes so he can go for the steal, which is absolutely infuriating.

I thought we were done saying rondos hall of fame teammates make him look good because he's better then all 3 of them now.

Seriously. Garnett is the only one that's really been playin worth a damn anymore.

I'll take the best pure point guard in the league. Give me Chris Paul. The only thing that gives me hesitation is his previous knee injury.

Second place is a toss-up between Rondo and Deron (although Rondo probably gets a slight edge for his championship experience and being able to take over a team that includes Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and KG). The rest don't really factor in to this IMO because they all have something holding them back, be it age, injury, or whatever.

                            Deron ****ing Williams.

CP3 already knows what's good when my man was in Utah getting in his ****.

That isn't the whole point. They're still reliable offensive players and knockdown shooters for the most part. Ray Allen can't create a shot for himself with the ball in his hands, but there aren't many better players in the league for getting open with action off the ball. Pierce is a great 3pt shooter as well, and with guys playing WAY off Rondo if someone tries to front KG he'll lob it over the top for an easy finish a lot. Just because he's better and they aren't what they use to be doesn't mean they don't greatly complement each other's skill sets.

I wouldn't pick Rondo because he needs capable offensive players like that around him to put points up. Replace Paul with Rondo on the Clippers and they barely make the playoffs, and don't win around. The Clippers need someone who can score.

Same thing with the Bulls. Any team playing a Rondo led bulls would be lucky to score over 80, but the Bulls themselves would be lucky to get over 70.
