There's no reason a team should have three home games in a row. Not saying it's an advantage or disadvantage for either team, but it's just awkward.
Feels like a huge disadvantage for the "lower seed". Basically, you have to win 4 in a row or you are screwed. Not saying that's much different between how it normally is, but it seems like if the lower seed does lose a home game, it's rough to win the series in game 6 or 7 on the road.

I think it also gives the team with home court advantage a pretty big disadvantage if they drop one of the first 2 games. I mean going on the road for 3 in a row is really rough, they must steal 1 game to avoid elimination, and kinda need to steal 2 of them to get any momentum at all.

All together 2-3-2 is stupid in my opinion.

That same as it is in the first three rounds.

IMO...there's always more pressure on the home team.

I think the 2-3-2 favors the higher seed.

When's the last time the lower seed with 3 straight home games won all 3 straight home games in the NBA Finals? Detroit Pistons in 2004?

I think the 2-3-2 format definitely favors the higher seed, and there's nothing wrong with that IMO. You were the better team during the regular season and deserve the "advantage".

                  MIA in 06.

I really don't think there's a huge advantage either way honestly...at this point of the season, you should be able to win anywhere...

I think it favors the lower seed. In the 2-3-2 format, 3 out of the first 5 games are on the lower seed's home court. Granted the last 2 are on the higher seeds court, but those two mean nothing if they never happen.

The media is going to kill Russ if OKC loses this Finals. The Thunder are not even in the Finals without good or bad Russ.

What gets me is that he played eerily the same way in both Game 1 and 2 and but the media lit him up after Game 2.

It's like they just need a crutch and Russell fits the bill.

The media will kill Russ no matter how he plays. Russ is just one of those players that people love to rip apart no matter how great or how poor he plays, kinda like LeBron. Russ can do nothing right in the media's eyes, if the Thunder win then it was all because Durant, Harden, Ibaka, etc played well. But if OKC loses it's because Russ did this or did that and cost them the game. He is just an easy person for people to hate I guess. But like you said, the Thunder would not be in the Finals right now without him.

Chalmers was a 2nd round pick right? That was a pretty good value the Heat got for him.
