Re: ****2012 NBA FINALS DISCUSSION THREAD****
Westbrook kept them in the game. Without him, they lose in an embarassing fashion. Basically, Westbrook had to shoot more to make up for Harden's really really bad game.
Durant was getting constantly fouled off the ball, and when he did get the ball he had to settle for jumpers because everytime he tried to drive there was always someone trying to take a charge under the basket.
I know one thing, Durant's mama is going to put him over her knee tonightLast edited by iLLosophy; 06-19-2012, 11:06 PM.Comment

Personally, I don't see how the heat winning is good for the sport. If you like the way baseball is, with the same big teams always winning, then the heat winning is good for the sport. I absolutely hate the idea of every year Miami, New York, LA, and maybe a few Chicago's.
Thats why to me this series is like Ivan Drago(heat) vs Balboa(okc). Nothing special about taking the easy way IMO.
It's not like LeBron hasn't worked hard for it. He's playing all-planet right now. If he was a more likeable guy...everyone would be on his nuts.
But give props where they're due.Comment

That being said, I said that the way Lebron is playing is good for the game. He is reaffirming why so many people have labeled him the best player in the world and is wiping off the "choke" label as I type this post. He's hitting jumpers, getting to the rim, finishing, hitting his free throws, playing solid D, getting his teammates involved, making the right decisions, has developed a post game that commands a double-team...do tell how it's not good for the game for the best player to be an all-around player? Hopefully it trends to less ISO basketball.Acts 2:38. Let the truth be told.

Well, do you guys think the pressure is on the Heat or Thunder? I'm going to say the Heat, just because I think they want to finish this thing badly at home. Not saying they will lose the series if they lose game 5, but I feel the pressure is on them to get it done.Last edited by Hawaii_Stars; 06-19-2012, 11:10 PM.Comment
