I've seen many a questionable call in this series, but at that point, it became clear. The series is rigged, and it ain't in favor of the Thunder.

You can try to rationalize it all you want, but there is NO WAY a team that convincingly beat the Mavs, Lakers, and Spurs are having this much trouble against the Heat.

I don't care who wins, as the Thunder put out my team (Spurs), but I will definitely not continue watching a series where the refs are deciding the outcome.

That was absolutely terrible. The entire 3rd quarter was painful to watch.

Everybody's been rewarded by BS officiating. In that game 6 against the Spurs every time OKC got in trouble (in the 4th) they got a bail out from the refs. One horrible charging call on Manu that cost him an and 1 that would have cut the lead to 1. And a flop by Harden that got an offensive foul after a made 3 three that would have cut the lead. Each time OkC came down and scored or got a foul of their own. The refs have been handing out gifts forthe entire playoffs. Nobody's "clean".

Know how refs won't call fouls against Durant so that every one won't keep blaming them?

If Durant learns to move his feet and play defense. I'm sorry, but he's reckless and poor at the defensive end and it's going to be a foul all day when you're hand slapping, running in with reckless abandon for a charge, and jumping into people on a ball fake -- That's fact, it's been that way forever, and he can change that but he needs to learn how to play good defense instead of lazy defense.

The refs aren't out to get Durant or the Thunder. It's so silly that this is what sports talk and coverage has become thanks to ESPN - Over dramatic crap. - Hell, men complaining now and getting caught up in making story lines and being over dramatic is on par with women watching Real Housewives....

It's embarrassing and quite pathetic what the typical fan of sport has become.. And then have the audacity to say "The pros are soft now days"..

Game 4 was a nail biter, glad I have no reason to root one way or the other aside from my distaste for Lebron. Only caught the second half unfortunately.

Hard to pin point what OKC's folding point was, this game was definitely a combined collapse for them. Harden missing the break away layup?Fisher getting swatted when OKC had numbers and he decided, with all his experience, to try and finish it himself? OKC's defensive rotations and recognition repeatedly leaving guys WIDE open beyond the arc?Just off the top of my head of things that OKC should be beating themselves up about while waiting for game 5.

Lebron has been great all series, and again he had a stastistically dominant game. The way he's been leaving his mark in every facet of the game has more or less shown why he's superior to Kevin Durant, or really anyone in the league. Beyond the stats, he hit a huge 3 in the final minutes and got his gimp leg shot down. Before the series went down he said he wouldn't have any regrets win or lose, and he's definitely done that service for himself. He will likely grab his first title and Finals MVP but...

Round of applause for the role players, this series has been tight down the stretch, and their contributions have been more than necessary. Chalmers made monster plays last night, Battier provided huge lifts in the first two games, and the team's defensive efforts have been the difference in these extremely tight, 1-3 possession games. Miami has been getting production outside of Lebron and Wade, where as OKC has been riding Durant and Westbrook almost exclusively. The 6th Man of the Year has been rendered ineffective, Perkins has been useless as his interior post defense means little to nothing against a team that doesn't go down low like that, and his interior help defense has been poor. Partner that with his limited offensive talents and it becomes clear why that Perkins trade continues to feel puzzling for both sides. Arguably, the Thunder grabbed Perk to deal with Bynum and Gasol, but if you take Harden out of the equation, there is a serious lack of offensive ability on that squad.

This series definitely has not gone the way I envisioned it going, but watching it happen game by game, it's not surprising at all. For anyone saying the Thunder had no trouble dispelling the Mavs (a shell of it's champion squad), the Lakers (a flawed team that all year was up and down), and the Spurs (this is the series you can definitely tip your hat to OKC for out of the three teams they went up against prior to the finals), and it's "fishy" that they're having trouble with the Heat should probably consider that the Miami Heat have two top 10 players (one of them being Lebron who is the best player in the league and playing every bit the part in these playoffs/finals), a top tier player in Bosh, and have role players who are contributing when it counts suddenly. Can blame the refs all you want, but at the end of the day, the Thunder have not been making winning basketball plays.

You mean how Miami last year ran through Philly, Boston, Chicago lost a inferior Mavs team after they were rolling? I guess upsets never happen?

My comments were not meant to spark an argument, or continue it.

Sure, there were some questionable calls in the Thunder/Spurs series, but the fact is that the Spurs seemed to run out of gas after rolling past the previous two teams. As a Spurs fan, I can honestly say that the Spurs lost it just as much as the Thunder won it.

This series though, it's just not even close. It's laughable really. Friends of mine that are Heat fans have even admitted to me that a lot of calls in favor of the Heat have been suspect.

Like I said before, I don't have a dog in this race. I am not particularly a fan of either team (although I do like LeBron and Durant), and I don't have any money riding on the overall outcome. Just calling it how I see it. Don't like my opinion, fine. I do find it funny though that most of the posts in response to mine completely disregarded the example I gave of how lop-sided the officiating is.

It's cool though. You keep believing this series is purely determined by the teams participating in it, and I'll keep my tinfoil hat on.

Well, when OKC is letting MIA take wide open 3s, letting a hobbled LeBron score 5 points in the closing minutes, letting Mario Chalmers score lay-ups from the 3 point line, getting beat down the court after making shots, and getting really nothing offensively from anybody not named Westbrook and Durant - its not only the refs. Sure, the refs may be a single faucet to OKC's troubles, but they have to rise above that **** and not go into every shot like they're drawing the foul. Westbrook was the only player last night that acted like he wanted to win. Durant ain't even in this anymore as his press conference last night showed and his defense last night just made me shake my head. It was nice to see him not get into foul trouble, but damn he needs to learn how to put a hand up without fouling. Harden wasn't even in the building. He hesitated on too many shots (notably that wide open jumper from right inside the 3 point line and that horrible fast break botch).

MIA is playing not only like they have more experience, but they're playing as a unit.

Like others here, I have nothing riding on this series. I'm a Cavs fan. All the complaining about officiating is ridiculous. The officiating at times has been slightly one sided. I don't think it has been as one sided as many others seem to think though. I think non calls and bad calls get magnified when they go against the Thunder because most people are rooting for the Thunder.

The 2012 Finals... the scapegoat series. No matter who wins there is plenty of blame to go around. Do you know who I blame?... DEREK FISHER! That bum needs to stop taking poorly timed shots that kill the Thunder's momentum, he has done it at least in Game 3 and 4. The layup he tried in transition in the 4th quarter that Wade sent...what was he thinking?

Moral of the story: Derek Fisher always finds a way to get under one's skin.

Yeah let's not sit around and act like OKC didn't get some questionable calls to go their way in every series leading up to the Finals. Against the Mavs, all Westbrook had to do was violently throw himself at the basket and get the ball within 4 feet of the rim and he was going to the free throw line.
