Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
      Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
      Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

      Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

Interesting stat. However until last season (2010-2011) LeBron wasn't on a team that was talented enough to win a championship. His second best player in Cleveland was coming off the Bench for the Clippers this year.

              I agree.
He played the "big man" role this series. He dominated the off boards, got blocks, set good screens, and spaced the court.
Before this series started, I thought the Thunder would dominate the boards with their size, but it seemed like their bigs were more worried on getting blocks and not hustling for rebounds.
I think the Thunders needs another vet shooter on the bench and a big that can rebound. IF Thunder get a shooter like Miller or Battier and someone who could get 10 rebs, they would get right back to another title

Sounds like a job for Juwan Howard.

His defensive presence was huge. Down low. He came up with some very nice blocks and rebounds. Getting

One other guy I would like to mention is Shane Battier. He's been playing out of position for the whole playoffs. I think it's sad that the only team that took advantage of it were the Pacers for one game. But the Thunder had the worst problems with this match up. Especially with Ibaka/Perkins wanting to protect the paint.

                      Before that too.

You can drop the laughable notion though that if Rose got hurt with Dwight on the team it's somehow the same as him in Orlando. If the proposed trades went down we're looking at the Bulls taking back Dwight and possibly Turk for Luol Deng and Joakim Noah. That leaves a starting lineup should Rose get hurt Dwight, Carlos Boozer, Hedo, Richard Hamilton and CJ Watson. Yeah better than Orlando.

Dwight Howard for Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah. Let's see, Dwight, Taj Gibson, Luol Deng, Richard Hamilton and CJ Watson. Yeah still better than Orlando.

Dwight and Hedo for Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng and Omer Asik. Hmmmm, Dwight, Joakim, Hedo, Richard Hamilton and CJ Watson. Yeah, I think they'd be just fine and still better than Orlando.

We can go on but I think that sums it up.

My bad. I meant to say he is potentially a yearly candidate to be an all-star. He can get multiple appearances in the AS game and there wouldn't be an uproar. There are a lot of players who are a potential one-time all-star at some point in their careers. He is the type of player who could be a staple AS reserve as long as he keeps his head on straight. I hope that makes more sense.

ESPN should know better (And I know it's just a stat, but putting this out there is misleading and only leads to more ill-advised insults).

What matters most (if it even matters at all) is how many years of playoffs it took. So what if Jordan needed less playoff games. It still took him 6 years of postseason losses to win his first ring. It took LeBron 6 years of postseason losses as well.

Both were 27 when they hoisted they're first trophy. Seems like LeBron is on pace.

Good old ESPN, always looking for more ammo.

Side note, DWade played in 50 before his first title too.

He made a lot of key plays, on both ends of the court, buckets, boards, blocks, forget winning the title, if he doesn't come back during the Boston series, the Heat go home in that round, Spo probably gets canned, and, maybe Wade gets traded too. He does goofy things, but the dude is a really good player.
