No Derozan isn't (at least not yet) and Camby was years ago. Chandler is a perennial DPOY and 1st team Defense candidate and Deng could make the All-Star reserves at any time and nobody would be surprised. He is a good/very good 2-way player. My point is, you are not making much sense right now.

atlanta trio is more potent them them when healthy/and actually engaged in the game.

Please explain how Johnson, Smith, and Horford are better than Rose, Boozer/Noah, and Deng? Have Atlanta's big three won a playoff series yet? For that matter, I'd like to know why you think ATL's core is definitively better than NY's.

Imagine an NBA where there are 3-4 teams that buy big 3's that are competing for the 'ship every year.

As opposed to a league where you have to play for either the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Pistons or Spurs to have a great chance at winning a title?

I know, right? I can't imagine a league where teams have lineups like this:

Boston - Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo
Lakers - Kobe, Bynum, Gasol
Spurs - Duncan, Parker, Ginobili
Thunder - Westbrook, Durant, Harden
Miami - LBJ, Wade, Bosh
Knicks - Melo, Stoudemire, Chandler
Bulls - Rose, Boozer/Noah, Deng

Hold up...What's that? These teams are already assembled? And we just witnessed an excellent (albeit shortened) season? And one of the best postseasons overall in recent memory? I guess I can live with that.

The Conference Finals were pretty good though and so were a few of the Finals Games outside of Game 5.

I was wrong, really thought Thunder were the better team and had the right mindset to win even as a young group, but Miami just came in with the right attitude and refused to lose. Props to them, they deserved it

One of the best postseasons in overall memory?

Ehh I wouldn't go that far because it wasn't long ago when folks were saying "I wish we could skip right to the Conference Finals" and this was during the 1st round lol.

The Conference Finals were pretty good though and so were a few of the Finals Games outside of Game 5.

I enjoyed this postseason. The one thing off-the-top I would change would be Rose staying healthy. I think it may have just been a typing error, but to clarify, I didn't say it was one of the best postseasons in overall memory, I said it was one of the best overall postseasons in recent memory. Even still, we can agree to disagree.

Also, I think part of the reason people wanted to fast-forward the playoffs is due to living in a microwave generation. Some may not have liked the quality of the product in the early rounds, but I think impatience was partially an influence.
