Re: ****2012 NBA FINALS DISCUSSION THREAD****

Something else I think is interesting and works in favor of Miami a little, OKC can no longer have an advantage by running the ball. Dallas, LA, and San Antonio were all said to be halfcourt teams.

Against Miami if you run the floor, you're more than likely going to get beat. It's all going to come down to who can execute in the halfcourt more effeicently.

LBJ on Baka would be an interesting wrinkle....

But considering the consistent ****ing Durant does on Battier on a regular basis, I don't know if you want to live with that...

I'll take OKC in 6. OKC has too many mismatches for Miami to contain. The big quandry they have, is if they use LeBron on KD the whole time, will LeBron get tired and his offense suffer? OKC has 3 legit big men to roll out there to make James/Wade drives less effective, as well as good perimemter defenders. This isn't Boston's old, hobbled legs and 1 big man. This is a team that is a defensive juggernaut at times, when they want to be.

I got OKC in 6, wanted to say in 5 but gotta give some credit to the Heat.

Kevin Durant has been amazing all season, Harden has stepped up this playoffs, and even Westbrook is playing a little smarter then in previous seasons. They just have the complete package right now that's going to make it hard on the Heat when you then throw in Ibaka, Perkins, Thabo, and even Big Shot Fisher

Riding with the Heat? There's a shocker. J/k lol

And why hate Perkins though? I hope that's not about that Twitter mess from the season man.

My prediction is the winner of Game 2/4 wins the series.

Without Bosh would've said OKC in 5, but he makes a huge difference for them out there. Gonna be a hell of a series, I'll say OKC in 6 or 7. They've just got an ideal squad from top to bottom if West brook makes halfway decent decisions

Heat in 7, I see Westbrook going into Bad Westbrook mode in his first Finals trip. LeBron should be able to do a decent job defendng Durant in key situations.

The Thunder are the one team where the Heat's biggest weakness, not having a good Center, means almost nothing. Perkins can defend, but...who is there to guard? Joel Anthony?

OKC in 6. I think OKC roster is just better.
