What picks are they getting from everyone else? Matter of fact, aren't they protected?

This was all about not wanting any parts of Brook Lopez, plain and simple.

It just dawned on me how good the sixers just be came, they add Bynum and replace louis Williams with Richardson(not exactly better but good enough) I always thought Thaddeus was good, Iggys lose will hurt but that's definitely a better team next year

The Lakers problem before wasn't their starting 5. They still have no bench. Antawn Jamison does not really alleviate their depth issues. They are definitely a better team than they were last year, but not a better team than OKC.

OKC is an outstanding basketball team but they don't have the firepower to beat the Lakers anymore unless Kevin Durant is shooting 80%.
Other guys need to step their game up. Ibaka needs to work on his post game (which he has been doing), sefolosha needs to keep hitting open threes and work on cuts & finishing around the basket, and perkins needs to go back to being the perkins we knew from the celtics. OKC should also sacrifice some regular season wins to allow their bench guys to get more experience. Also Westbrook should be solely responsible for staying on PJ3 making sure he gives 110%.

Breaking News: All Magic home game tickets have dropped to 1 cent on Stubhub.

The Magic just a took a huge dump on their fans tonight. This is one of the most lopsided trades I've seen in the history of professional sports. They got 20 cents on the dollar for Howard. Incredible.

All they did was go from 3 to 2 over the aging spurs but watch out for the clippers they added a bunch of depth.

I think we are agreeing with each other, I'm confused lol. I agree that they didn't want Brook Lopez. They are getting a future 1st from the rest of the teams.

My point was that in this one or the Nets trade, I assume they would be getting mid to late 1st round picks. I think we're on the same page here.

Broussard just said it himself on espn, the nets, rockets and hawks were all giving better offers. Hawks could have gave him Horford and Teague and a Pick or two although I would have been sad to see them go.

So now that they have D-12 they are still not a good team. Thought the Lakers Problem was their Defense? I mean it's not like the OKC blew them out in the series. Games were very close.
