Who said the Lakers weren't a good team? They are a great team, just not as great as the Thunder. The Lakers are still old, and have no one to spell them when they leave the floor. Their collapses towards the end of the games at the OKC series was a combination of poor matchups with OKC players and their own fatigue, and the bench problem has not been fixed. Does Dwight help their defense? Of course he does, he's the best defensive asset in the league. But Kobe's a year older and Steve Nash can't defend a brown paper bag. OKC is still a better team, and as young as they are will continue to get better.

Lets not forget either Mr. Perkins can guard Duh 1 on 1. One of the few guys that showed he could.

Right well either Harden, or Ibaka will not be in a Thunder Uniform after the 12-13 season. We got D-12 to help against OKC'S Pick & Roll. D-12 is #1 when it comes to defense against the Pick & Roll. Bench will be fine. Kobe will be fine. Nash will be fine. OKC will lose to the Lakers. I can Guarantee you that.

I get what you were going for there, but I cracked up reading that. Not sure I've ever heard the analogy put quite like that lol.

You realize Dwight might not be a Laker after the 12-13 season either right? Then what? You're making it seem like people are trashing the Lakers. Like it's an insult to say they're the 3rd best team in the league instead of the best. And neither of us know what will happen during or after this season, so your guarantee is irrelevant.

It'll be Ibaka but your forgetting about Perry Jones, he looked great in the summer league, that may not be the toughest competition but the thunder probably won't lose too much from replacing Ibaka with PJ3

How was this better than the other offers?

Whatever, Lakers win the world title, Nuggets steal a mediocre player for not much and the 76ers get the **** end of the stick.

I got some bills that need to be taken care of and since you already know what's going to happen in the future, I figure you can help me out as well.

You Realize that we will have his Bird Rights, Bigger Market for his Endorsements. Will he really want to leave $30 million out there? What team is he going to go? To the Mavs? I don't think so. Lakers wouldn't have traded for D-12 if they didn't think he would stay. Also D-12 has said he would re-sign with the Lakers after the 12-13 season.

Think the Lakers can beat even the west ?

They still lack a SF to stop Durant and a PG to stop Westbrook from the Thunder .

I don't really see how LA is that much better. Instead of having the leagues second best center, they now have the best. They are only slightly better.

The Lakers still aren't as deep as OKC.

Nash can't guard Westbrook, the Lakers don't have an answer for Harden off the bench. Ibaka and Perkins can bang with Gasol and Howard.

I'll take OKC's big three, that haven't reached their prime yet and are still getting better, over LA's three players that are past their prime and Dwight Howard.

Yeah I say Kobe's knees catch up to him this season misses some games, Howard's back could knock him out for a while,Pau's number are declining, then you go to your bench, who is Nash gonna pass it to? This of course is a worst case but it's not far from reality.
