Nice Stern troll attempt, but Stern isn't going to veto this trade. The only reason he was able to veto the other trade is because the league owned the Hornets and he didn't want them to get fleeced which he felt that trade was doing and considering Odom was the key acquisition for the Hornets in that trade, I'd say he was right.

Not much Toronto could've done. They supposedly offered Nash $11 million more from them than he did to go to the Lakers.

This sucks for Toronto and Phoenix fans.

              Bought it already.

Jokes aside, can't the Raptors pull the offer sheet? There's a week until anything can even be signed.

I'm never believing a single thing an athlete says after the whole recent slew of superstars, now Nash and still waiting on the Hornets to make a decision on EG(probably won't until the 11th other then sources saying they'll match)

Damn it's gonna look weird seeing Nash in a Lakers jersey.

For those of you thinking you're going to get some grand blow up from Matrix, I wouldn't get my hopes up. If he says anything about it at all, it's going to be extremely tame. As you might have noticed, Matrix don't exactly post around these parts often anymore if at all. I think his interest in anything NBA was finally killed awhile ago and if it wasn't, this is the death blow.

Don't forget Dallas fans. He said that he was expecting to have to wait until the D-Will thing then we never heard from him again.

Oh well, more reason to hate the Lakers.

Its so hard for me to believe that Steve actually did such a dick move because he's always seemed like such a nice guy, but he really did, he fooled everyone.

Nash gets 3-year guaranteed $27 million deal, his agent Bill Duffy tells Y! "He's ecstatic. He gets to be close to his children," Duffy said
How do you trade a two-time MVP within your own division?

Just so he can be close to his kids?

The Suns deserve everything coming their way for the next 3 years and beyond.
