Unfortunately for Gordon it doesn't matter where his heart is, he's going to be in New Orleans.

          2) Dallas
          3) Toronto

If that's the case....damn that hurts!!

Question: if that's the case can't Toronto pull the offer for fields off the table ?? They can do that right? Cause he was obviously given the offer to try and block NY.

Also.....if no Nash......it's gonna be Calderon forever!!! Just give the man a lifetime contract.
They haven't signed anything yet, so, yes.

Wow, that really sucks. I like the Hornets, too.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

I may get flamed for this, but go back to last year and look at the press conference picture of Gordon, Aminu, and Kaman. New Orleans is just not a destination that NBA star players/big time free agents want to stay and play in... it just isn't.

Even with all the optimism that NO seemed to have after winning the lottery and drafting Davis and Rivers, I still never thought Eric Gordon wanted to play in NO.

They're not going to match a guy who doesn't want to be there. Have you not seen the Dwight saga.

They'll work out a S&T with Phoenix and get spare parts.

This is a major blow to the Hornets.

Hope Austin Rivers was working on his ball-handling and decision-making abilities...because he's gonna need them.

The Hornets would be crazy to keep Gordon against his wishes.

He'll be a Phoenix Suns player one way or another. The Hornets would do well to trade him for the rights to Kendall Marshall.

So no matter what David Stern tried to do last year killing CP3 trades and the like...the guy they brought over still didn't want to stay there.

This sucks for Hornets fans. Big time.

And the Hornets traded away Ariza and Okafor in hopes of having cap room for Gordon and he didn't say anything?

That's not a good look on Gordon's part. That's low.

That's pretty rough. Seemed like things were turning around for them too.

Too bad for Gordon cause according to sources close to situation the Hornets have every desire to match despite his comments.

Source with knowledge of New Orleans' strategy says the team still plans to match despite his comments about wanting to be in Phoenix.

The Hornets will likely meet with Eric Gordon and see where he's at before deciding to match or explore a sign-and-trade.

Gordon basically told @Chris_Broussard he wants out. "I strongly feel (the Suns) are the right franchise for me. PHX is where my heart is.''
