Doc is a huge fan of Lou Williams. Wonder if he makes a run at him if Ray decides to go to Miami.

I agree, Bulls need to be aggressive everywhere but based on the rumor mill they're not at all.

As far as Dirk, I just don't see him coming here because he'll come here knowing this season is a lost cause.

A lot of guards are getting picked up and I see nothing by Chicago. I don't want to see Brewer, Korver, or Asik back.

So Mizra Teletovic was "persuaded" by the Nets to change his contract from MLE (4y/20M) to MMLE (3y/9M) so they can pursue Dwight.

So updated list of things I'd like to see the Bulls get done here in the offseason.

Sign either (preferably two of them if possible) Courtney Lee, Lou Williams or Kirk Hinrich
          Sign Marcus Camby
          Let Asik go to Houston
Don't resign Watson, Brewer and Korver

I've heard reason we took away our offer for Courtney Lee is so we could offer him a 30-35 million contract. Expect Kevin Martin to be aggressively shopped in the coming weeks then.

So they would have to re-sign Lou Williams and they probably weren't comfortable doing that long term. I think the logic is that ideally both are a 6th man but Lou already established an identity as someone who finishes game. Now its easier to leave Holiday and Turner on the floor because there aren't established roles. I think they may pursue Hinrich now.

I really believe they wanted to keep Brand but the money was too much and then nobody wanted to trade for the contract. I heard before that Brand was willing to use his ETO ( early termination option) if they could come to an agreement on a 2 or 3 year deal.
              Thanks for the perspective sir

If the Sixers amnesty Brand, then yeah I'll take him in Dallas for the cheap. I'd actually be happy about that. However, if our current offseason trend is any indication...

Lou Williams is interesting... problem is he is extremely streaky.

At this point as a Bulls fan I know one thing. I want certain players to leave with no real desire to grab anyone out there at this point... except Mayo.

Mayo and Lou Williams are most likely looking for multi-year sizeable deals. I wonder if their options are shrinking at this point though, and are forced to do a Nick Young type deal.

My only issue with Mayo (I actually think he's a decent fit for a Rose-less Bulls team) is that he seems to want more than the MLE. Didn't he turn down Boston who was offering the MLE?

If the Bulls overpay for Mayo...they are potentially stuck with some very bad contracts for a long period of time.

I think Lou Williams would be a better fit on the Bulls.

Problem with Williams is what happens when Rose comes back? Goes back to 6th man? This is why I kind of wanted Crawford this year.

Hopefully Mayo gets forced to do what ex says. I'm honestly surprised none of the cap room teams haven't over payed him yet.

I would gladly take Mayo or Williams. I prefer Mayo though, he's a year younger and 3 inches taller.

I also thinks he has a higher ceiling. This guy average like 18pts, 4reb, and 3 ast in his first two years in the league with 38% from three. I think his situation in Memphis wasn't ideal for his development, but I think he could thrive in Chicago.

Lou is a better PG, but Mayo could get some minutes at PG when were waiting for Rose.

If it means amnesty Boozer so we get the full MLE, then I'm up for it. That also gives us room to extend Taj and let him start.
