Don't think NO will get anything from PHX unless something comes together very soon.

If EG stays suddenly NO has some shooters

The Chicago Bulls won't guarantee the final year of C.J. Watson's contract. If they can't trade him, they'll waive him: http://tinyurl.com/7k9a6hs

The crazy part is I believe even with Eric Gordon/Anderson on the Hornets they will have like $15-20 million coming off the books for next offseason

I'm not as good with the NBA as I am with the NFL but I believe that part of the Rashard Lewis contract/buyout will come off the books next offseason and then as well as Jarrett Jack's almost $6 mill

Not terriblely moved by the Anderson trade. While he'll help I think he's being over paid which I never like doing.

A two year deal would have been much more stomachable.

These multi-year deals make me uneasy....

I'm alright with a 4 year deal to a guy who's only 24 and just won the MIP award, have the cap space and even if we still have the $$ for say another big guy next offseason what are the odds that happens.

With the Salary Cap becoming much stricter starting next year, i.e., harsher sign and trade restrictions, and increased luxury tax penalties, I think teams are signing longer term deals this year, to try and lock in some cost certainty.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It's not a gross overpaying. However for non-glamour teams like my Hornets having fiscal responsibility is that much more important.

Mostly I'm indifferent about this move.
