Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
lol, I've seen 3 or 4 that had the info posted before yours... just didn't say anything until now. You're right, can't do anything about posting at the same time, and it's not a serious offense if you post info that's already there. Just asking that you check first bc I've seen it a few times over the last couple of days. Thanks man.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
So basically, Phoenix took whatever they can considering the situations and the facts at hand.Nash was a sign and trade, so maybe? He was a free agent at that point and therefore could have gone anywhere. They did Nash the favor ofsending him where he wanted to go. Perhaps you could say that, but Phoenix didn't take on any cap and grabbed two firsts and two seconds. If Phoenix didn't trade Nash they lost him for nothing already, and those picks were valuable assets to LA as they have no picks to trade for four years now, for a team with few assetsn

If there is a much better for Orlando that some of ya'll are claiming, don't you think it would've been made by now? It's been known for a while that Orlando prefers Bynum over ANYTHING we can offer and according to the "experts" it's the best deal out there, but they haven't jumped on that yet and why is that?
Like OSU said, they're getting assets and cap relief, where else will they get a better deal than that while getting Duhwight to commit long term?#RespectTheCultureComment

Bigger contract than I expected him to get, but I'm glad he's back in the fold.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

You're right, but its not about the picks but from LAs perspective those are assets that they use for trade leverage. No draft picks to pair in a Bynum or Pau package, for example, and no question that it hurt to give those picks up. The two year no pick stacking rule has LA out of tradeable draft picks till five years out. That's important.

...and I dont disagree, but I kind of object to the fact that they've survived all of this time without it
When was the last time it really mattered? back when they picked up Nick and Eddie or what?Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
OK my bad, i've only seen 1 article that said multiple picks going to ORL, it isn't specific about who's giving them up. I did find where CLE was insistent on getting a 1st rounder, obviously it would BKN's. People make a big deal about 1st round draft picks, the late 20's aren't as attractive as a lottery pick. I would think ORL wants CLE's draft picks b/c BKN pretty much traded them all away the last few years.Lakers | Michigan | DodgersComment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
My point is NONE OF US knows what goes on behind the scenes other than what we hear from Broussard/Woj/Berger/Bucher.For Johnson, did anybody say that? Most considered him un-tradeable. People were saying the Hawks GM should win executive of the year for moving him. For Nash, people were pissed the Suns helped out the Lakers, but nobody thought they could have got more for him. It was either trade him to the Lakers for their crap, the Knicks for their crap, or let him walk to Toronto. Neither of those situations are anything like Dwight.
As for the 2nd part, I don't know who reported that, and who knows what's really going on, but everything I've read makes it sound like the Nets are driving this.
It's not always as easy as saying "Oh, they can do better".#RespectTheCultureComment

They can want our draft picks all they want, they are not getting them unless the Cavs are getting a serious piece back.http://aol.sportingnews.com/nba/stor...M&sct=hp_t2_a5
