    That made me laugh.

Best thing about this, is that even if Dwight isn't quite ready to start the season the Lakers can play Pau at center with Jamison/Hill/McBob as the power forwards. Pau's a better center than he is a PF anyway.

Good job Mitch (if this goes through tomorrow)

If it doesn't go through, this has been the worst joke on Lakerage EVER.

      Yes, I do.

Although we'll see how Mike Brown works out there, but with Nash and Howard, that is a championship team. Ibaka's hilariously inept defense and Perkins overrated defense will not help much.

Oh, and did I mention that Pau Gasol and Kobe are still on the team? Small, insignificant detail.

The Lakers will be better but they still aren't as deep as OKC.

OKC will sign Harden and let Ibaka go after this year. Trust me. There is a reason OKC drafted Perry Jones. He is going to take Ibaka's spot after this season.

LA has a good starting five but they have no bench.

OKC gets Maynor back this year so we will have Maynor and Harden off the bench. Like I've already said, I don't see how this makes the Lakers that much better. They improved their team but it's not like Howard is light years better than Bynum. Also, Nash can't guard Westbrook.

                  Jamison enhances their bench massively.

That being said, they still have some problems on the bench. OKC is deeper, but that has never been a deciding factor in a playoff series. See: OKC vs Miami 2012 NBA Finals.

As inevitable as many said this was, the reality of it sinking in is no less. I'm ecstatic, gnabbing a player of Dwights caliber is amazing now with what the Lakers have currently , and as a building block once Pau and Kobe pass their contracts in two years.

This clears up the offensive issues of not having a mobile PnR center, this helps solidify the defensive end immensely, and gives the Lakers the most athletic big man in the league. Partnered with Steve Nash. I'm stunned.

Don't get me wrong I think the Lakers are now a championship contender , I just feel that the Thunder are going to be in the way . These two in a matchup really comes down to who shows up to play that day . Kind of like the movie " Any given Sunday" I by no means are disrespecting the Lakers .

It was reported on ESPN like two weeks ago. Do the research your self. What other team is he going to re-sign with seriously.

It was also reported in the last 2 months that Dwight was to be traded to at least 3 different teams within the next 24 hours. Unless he said it, it doesn't mean ****.
