Re: New Jersey Nets begin their take over of New York by relocating to Brooklyn

Like I said, both teams have some cold, grade A **** and neither of them have accomplished anything meaningful in the last 40-50 years.

The Knicks have a much richer history. Perfect Example actually is looking at both teams career leader in points.
    Points don't matter
    Can't have it both ways.

Like I said, the arrogance that comes from Knick Fans as if they've been running the league is hilarious. It's like the NBA version of Browns Fans popping off trash to Lions Fans.

We had chances in the 90s to win but I'd take a chance at winning any day then constantly visiting the lottery.
Hey King B Mack, how's that famous Jay-Z line go again?

Man, Football Season needs to hurry up and start.

Yet Knick Fans walk around like their team are the ****ing 90s Dallas Cowboys and then when you ask them why they haven't won since Gas was under $1, they're quick to pull out the MJ card(despite the fact he's been gone for 14 years and I'm not talking about the Wizards version)or they blame Isaiah. And eventually that'll go from blame Isaiah to blame Lebron, if hasn't already happened.

Re: New Jersey Nets begin their take over of New York by relocating to Brooklyn

The Nets are the better of the two. The Knicks have not proven anything. Just like I said, and its all coming to play ... the acquisition of Carmelo Anthony is like a cobra bite. I will elaborate in my detail.

        1) The Cobra fangs latching to the skin of the Knicks ... obtaining Carmelo Anthony ....

        2) Venom begins to affect the Knicks ... they lost a lot of talent and they aren't as good as the Stat, Gallo, Felton, Wilson Chandler Knicks.

        3) Becoming dizzy and fatigued as the venom makes the Knicks subside .... they lose Jeremy Lin!

        4) 2011-12 NBA Season, the Knicks fall to their death ... The Nets reign supreme. Metta World Peace already part of the mass hysteria on the rise. He is a Knicks fan and bought a Nets jacket (Google that information). Next thing you know it... Brooklyn Native SPIKE LEE is clapping his hands on the sideline wearing a Joe Johnson #7 jersey. It slowly takes effect.

THE NETS ARE TAKING OVER NEW YORK, THIS IS REALITY NBA FANS (Knicks fans specifically). THE NEW JERSEY NETS HAVE COME TO BROOKLYN TO INVADE NEW YORK. Manhattan will be Black & White. Madison Square GARBAGE will have black outs on TV.

Dwight Howard is going to walk from the LA Lakers and come to Brooklyn. Sorry Knick fans cant blame it on MJ, Isaiah, D'Antoni whatever. We are taking over. LETS GO NETS

wait so winning NBA titles is meaningless now? Against the behemoth that was the Lakers no less?

Points was a historical reference point. Usually if the person leads them in points he has played a lot of games there. I could use games played as a reference point as well. It's just to show you the comparison. Now for arrogance there is an tri-state arrogance of course. New York is the Knicks city, but I don't think any knick fan would go that far league wide? So as far as Arrogance goes I'd disagree if you meant league wide but locally yeah of course. The Knicks fans have the right as they're the only tri-state basketball team to have won anything in the NBA

Did you reference the Gallo Knicks as good?

The only team that hasn't proven anything is the Nets under the new regime all we've heard is the blueprint of success and all this nonsense and for what? The nets have yet to play any kind of meaningful Basketball in sometime. Let's see what they can do this year before proclaiming them kings of NY

I don't care what your favorite team is, you don't disrespect The Garden.

There are stadiums and arenas in every sport that, no matter the team that plays there, you have to acknowledge as one of if not THE place to play or see a game, and The Garden is one of them.

As a Red Sox fan, I hate the Yankees, but the old Yankees Stadium would have been at the top of my list of places to watch a game and there is no newer stadium that would ever replace it, no matter how fancy and hi-tech it was.

As a lifelong Net fan, the one and only reason I do not like the move to Brooklyn is the influx of all of these new "fans".

I honestly think there have been less than five Net fans on OS in all of the years I've been here. No one was around back when we were 12-70.
