Current Players:
1. Derrick Rose- No-brainer for me.
2. Kyle Korver- This is a bit of an Iowa homer pick (Korver is from Pella), but I love watching great shooters play the game.
3. Taj Gibson- Continuing with the Bulls theme a bit (unfortunately, Korver left the Bulls, but that happens in the FA era.), but I love watching a guy like Gibson work. He plays hard, plays solid D and dominates the glass like no one else in the league.
4. Steve Nash- Even now, in the twilight of his career, he is one of the best players in the NBA. He sees the game so well and makes great decisions on the floor. I'm just sad that he's a Laker now.
5. Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love (tie)- Perhaps you're seeing a bit of a theme here... point guards... I love Rubio and love to watch him play. Love is a nice player as well. Does great on the boards and is fun to watch in my opinion.

Honorable mention (current players):
Jason Richardson, Gerald Wallace, Rajon Rondo, Ty Lawson, Dwayne Wade (as much as I dislike the Heat...), Jason Kidd, Grant Hill.

All-Time:
1. Michael Jordan- Obvious. I grew up in the 90s, and my favorite thing to do was watch those Bulls teams from 96-98, especially MJ.
2. John Stockton- Back to my love affair with smart, heady, team-oriented point guards... I loved watching Stockton play. He was so fluid. He wasn't the most athletic guy on the court, the tallest, etc... but he was a great passer and a very capable shooter.
3. Reggie Miller- Again, growing up in the 90s, as much as I hated the Pacers, I loved to watch Reggie Miller. The guy could absolutely light it up. He was exciting to watch.
4. Gary Payton- Yet another PG... The Glove was a brilliant defender and a very good facilitator.
5. (tie) Alex English and David Thompson- Both throwbacks to the Nuggets teams of the 70s and 80s, both were amazing scorers. Sad that Thompson's career had to end the way it did, but he did average more than 20 ppg in all but one of his seasons with the Nuggets, and he scored an astounding 73 points against the Pistons on one occasion. Looking back at old footage of him is absolutely amazing. English scored at least 20 ppg in all but one of his years in Denver as well, and had 7 seasons of at least 25 ppg including 29.8 at the age of 32 and 26.5 at the age of 35 in 1988-89. He had one thing that Thompson didn't, longevity. He played until 1990-91 and had 12 seasons in which he played over 80 games, and in that 90-91 season, at the age of 37, he still managed to play in 79 games, starting 26 for Dallas.

HM: Mugsy Bogues, Larry Johnson, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Tracy McGrady (since he's not in the NBA currently, I'll place him here.), Shaq.
