This is the best raptor team ever IMO.I still can't believe we go Baxter,Marshall and Rose for bums liike Davis JYD and the other fillrs(who i beleive were Bradley and Chris Jeffries). Not only are they sharing the ball well but their offensive sets look good and on D they hustle...

One of the best lineups in the east.

The Raps have been playing a lot better since the trade. They have been putting up a lot more points too. That's a good thing. These guys will definitely go to the playoffs, with the outside chance of winning the east. They all seem to know their roles and play them quite well. Good for them.

                  Re: RAPTORS PLAY OFF BOUND!!!????

I've noticed some positive changes on the Raptors not just the winning streak but how they are all in tune to Coach O'Neill's game plan. It's good to see the entire team huddle up around him listening to what they have to do late in the game and actually look INVOLVED!

As for the comment about being surprised that Carter has been playing for the team. Well i'm not surprised. He's been dishing the ball around to his teamates a lot this year and if his former teamates actually knew how to score he'd be up there in Assts.

Anyways I see the Raptors making it to the Eastern Finals at the very least.

Bosh is playing great. Alvin is playing alot better now, as is Mo Pete. Vince and Jalen are creating open shots for teamates. Donyell is contributing with points, boards and blocks. Baxter is pure hustle, just needs better conditioning.
The Raps are looking good now with the trade, 4 straight and more to come.

How many Raptors games have you watched in the last 2 years? I've seen this comment a lot, but I don't agree with it at all. Living in Canada, the sports networks here show a ton of Raptor games everyyear. I've noticed Vince change his game dramatically during his last 2 injury-riddled seasons. He hasn't been holding onto the ball as much and has been much more willing to give it up during crunch time, rather than trying to be the team. I haven't been that surprised by his play this year at all. And as someone else mentioned, his assist numbers would have been higher in the past if he had somebody to dish off too...

As much as I'd love to see the Raptors with a decent seed in the playoffs, I'm not expecting too much out of them. They're still just a Carter injury away from going a losing skid, and they are still really weak in the post.

That's the story with all teams in the NBA. If your star goes down, then I'm sure most teams wouldn't make the playoffs. Well, except for the Kings. I mean, if TD went down, the Spurs would be a definitely lottery team. KG for the Wolves, AI for the 76ers, etc. Lots of teams depend on their star for more than just points.

As for the low-post presence, barely any teams in the east have one, so they shouldn't have to worry about that part of the game.
