With their current lineup they shouldnt have any trouble making the playoffs in the eastern conferance.
Bosh is playing great. Alvin is playing alot better now, as is Mo Pete. Vince and Jalen are creating open shots for teamates. Donyell is contributing with points, boards and blocks. Baxter is pure hustle, just needs better conditioning.
The Raps are looking good now with the trade, 4 straight and more to come.

I'm surprised that the raptors are suddenly playing well. I'm also surprised to see Vince Carter play for his team rather than getting stats. He's doing it all, rebounds, assists, steals, pts, you name it.

How many Raptors games have you watched in the last 2 years? I've seen this comment a lot, but I don't agree with it at all. Living in Canada, the sports networks here show a ton of Raptor games everyyear. I've noticed Vince change his game dramatically during his last 2 injury-riddled seasons. He hasn't been holding onto the ball as much and has been much more willing to give it up during crunch time, rather than trying to be the team. I haven't been that surprised by his play this year at all. And as someone else mentioned, his assist numbers would have been higher in the past if he had somebody to dish off too...
As much as I'd love to see the Raptors with a decent seed in the playoffs, I'm not expecting too much out of them. They're still just a Carter injury away from going a losing skid, and they are still really weak in the post.

That's the story with all teams in the NBA. If your star goes down, then I'm sure most teams wouldn't make the playoffs. Well, except for the Kings. I mean, if TD went down, the Spurs would be a definitely lottery team. KG for the Wolves, AI for the 76ers, etc. Lots of teams depend on their star for more than just points.
As for the low-post presence, barely any teams in the east have one, so they shouldn't have to worry about that part of the game.
