Re: Mike Brown Fired Per ESPN
Sorry if I've been kinda aggressive in the thread. I was pretty boozed last night.
Read that in the 2K forums:
The Lakers would not have fired Mike Brown today unless they were in talks with Phil (who has been in Los Angeles since training camp started) the last 48 hours. In all honesty Phil told the Lakers he would tell them in the morning and today must've told Buss he will comeback and then Mike Brown was fired. Trust me, Lakers would not have done this without a firm commitment from the guy top on their list.Comment

I'm sure you're right (I haven't checked any of my social media sites yet), I'm also sure SF was addressing the Lakers fans he knows through said social media and not just generalizing with his statement.
I hate when the Lakers/Kobe/Lakersfan hatred spills over to these boards and people start to drop statements with broad generalizations like "The average Laker fan has a lower basketball IQ than Jordan Crawford."

Phil will meet with the Lakers this morning, and you have to think Mitch will offer him the world since D'AnPhony is not healthy. Phil smiling to himself all day because he could bend the org twice over if he so chooses.Comment

Re: Mike Brown Fired Per ESPN
I was going to say the same exact thing, maybe that should have been phrased another way because we all know you don't like the Lakers or Kobe. (and if you remotely do, it sure doesn't come off as such from your posts lol)
You're definitely not on the level of Kash, but there is a solid contingent of posters that don't like them and will be quick to post something negative about them if possible.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion though, and I can respect that.Comment

Not like I never have though...did you know it take that into account in your thoughts?
Too much assuming going on but this has nothing to do with why I said what I did
I don't have to prove anything to the sides who are always assuming but can't totally figure out if I have an agenda or what it is lol

Smug? OK man. Every post you make on the franchise is slanted in one direction, it's not a big secret. I thought it was hilarious for you to even mention that, no smugness out of me.Comment

Re: Mike Brown Fired Per ESPN
The thing with me is, players come and go and what I root for mainly is that name on the Front of the jersey (I know that sounds horribly cliché).
My love for the Lakeshow is forever and it doesn't really matter who the player is, but that's just me.
I respect your position, don't understand it at all, but I can respect it.Comment
