I think the Nets will be fine. This is really the first time Joe Johnson gets to play off-ball SG since his Suns days.Avery should look into running some more off-ball screens for Joe Johnson to get him open looks.

Everyone does forget this is the first time Deron Williams had this type of player as well.I don't think Silent Joe play is because of his game I think the "Iso Joe" stuff has to stop.I think they'll find there groove soon two good of a backcourt not to work.

No ones said otherwise so I'm assuming so. He's still not where he should be rebounding, but he's getting slightly better. Kris and Reggie somewhat makes up for that with their hustle on the boards but that's not really an excuse.

As for the Averah offense, Joe was running off screens and spotting up all game up until IsoJoe, and Brook was putting in work offensively all game so, I'm still sitting here wondering WTF happened. That game was still winnable, and overall the team looked good for 45 minutes so I can't complain at all...except for Averahs choices down the stretch.

Yup, like LionsFan said, he's not where he is before the Mono but he's shown improvement in that category and he's been more aggressive in at least trying to get them or be in position to get them whereas in the past, he'd just let Hump snatch them up and he'd get whatever he could aka Lazy.

That still feels rather mediocre...okay, maybe it's above average. Still, at his height, you'd think he'd be in double digits. I'm not saying he should be Dwight Howard 14 board a game, but Lopez should have always been at 10. This way, his injury should have brought him down to 8.

I like Brook Lopez, so this isn't a hate on him. He just doesn't seem to jump, ever.

Really impressed by L.A. They're building some momentum and make it hard again for the other teams to win on their court. The team is still relying too much on Kobe and he's playing way too many minutes. At this rate I don't think it's gonna end well, but Nash is coming back so it might be it.

When you see how they seem to enjoy basketball you realise thye have been depressed for the last 2 years. Even Pau has the eyes of the tiger again.

                    Great win, great game.

Amazing how a 19 year old rookie already means so much to his team. Yeah, #1 overall...but we aren't even wholly competitive without Davis. No reason we get steamrolled. Melo was just having shoot around out there. Smiling and laughing like that.

Oh I'm with you. 6 rpg for a starting 7'0 C is unacceptable.

It's funny because in some of the games, he'd have like 6-8 rebounds by half and it'd look like he'd be on his way to hitting double digit rebounds but then would only get 1-2 the rest of the way and I'm not sure what's up with that. I've already accepted that he'll probably never become a 10rpg type of player but I'll be content if he could give me at least 20, 7 and 3 this year, which at least seems possible and realistic.

And I'm also convinced that Pau Gasol is allergic to the post, now.

I recall most of his points coming from the perimeter, which is amazing since a few years ago, he had one of the best post games in the league.

Lol my boy Reggie Evans prolly be schooling Brook at practice and taking all the rebounds from that giant.

Maybe he could learn alot from him?

Lopez should be getting at-least 10 rebounds a game in a league where mostly PF's are playing the 5..

I've come to the conclusion that Pau will only utilize his post skills when he is the only big man on the floor, basically if he's playing center. When Andrew was always hurt over the two years LA won the title, Pau was the primary big and he was deadly. He was arguably the best big man over those two years. When Andrew got healthy and was able to stay on the floor is exactly when Pau started venturing further and further from the basket.

As long as Pau stays looking for his shot in the face up I can live with it. Once he starts hesitating and holding the ball for more than five seconds is when he really hurts the team.
