Austin Rivers won't succeed until he adds the threat of a mid-range game. Teams know he's either gonna jack a 3 or drive to the rim. He won't ever pull up. Not to mention that a pull up on a big is often the wiser move rather than trying to draw foul calls he won't get.

And Darius Miller deserves all the minutes Xavier Henry is getting.

Man this has been another great weekend of basketball. Even though my weekend started on wed lol.

I'm so proud to say and watch that the Nets are winning games. Seeing Joe Johnson balance with Deron Williams is awesome!!! And not that it's a surprise... but Brook Lopez is really good. Still can't rebound for his life. But at least he gets blocks. But Lopez rebounds problems aren't that bad when Crash, Hump and Evans are hitting the boards consistently. Off the bench Marsooh Brooks and CJ Watson (What were the bulls thinking?) has been playing well.

MarShon rarely plays though, although Averah's rotations do leave me dumbfounded at times(Will give MTV minutes in a few games and then never see him again and will give Stackhouse minutes but won't play Tyshawn).

Is Stackhouse really even contributing much for y'all?

            Surprisingly yes.

I mean he hasn't "hurt" the team when he's been out there but I'd rather his minutes go to Tyshawn or MTV or even MarShon, personally.

I don't know...Averah's rotations and his standards for playing guys confuse me, especially some of his lineups on the floor.

So the Spurs/Raptors game was statistically the most tightly contested game in the shot clock era....fun.

And on the other end of that, the Raptors lost - very common in the shot clock era.

Stacks going to get minutes now anyway with them sending Tyshawn and Toko to the D League. At least he's learning the CJ/Deron backcourt doesnt work. For now.

But packman I totally agree with you about Avery's rotations. I thought at first he wasn't playing Marshon because of defensive reasons. But he has a problem at SG with Keith, M.Brooks and J. Stackhouse. Keith plays the best defense of them all. Jerry probably the best spot up shooter (Keith is pretty damn close too). M.Brooks is just better offensively. I think he's playing it by ear at this point. It depends on the match-ups. Like using Brooks last night when they had the PG covering him. He got some effective baskets/looks from Brooks.

In what I've seen from Stackhouse he's been a key part of that team. The few games I watched of him he seemed to make the correct play every time. I'm glad to see he's still contributing at his age. I like rooting for those old veterans.

Speaking of the Raptors, I feel like there's no team in the NBA that loses more close games than them.
