We have to pawn a PF or two off to some fool. And, would you trade Artest straight up for Charlie Ward or Howard Eisley?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I wouldnt trade him for anything. He is a player ever team loves to hate, but the fact is he will do anything to win, and how man players can you say that about?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I'm a Ron Artest fan, that's why I want him. And I know Isaiah Thomas would love to see him in a Knicks uni.

I wonder if Larry Bird would deal him though, seeing he and Isaiah's dislike for each other.

But, Carlisle's comments were kinda harsh IMHO. Put him on the trading block if you dislike him so much.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I know, I was jsut saying

and if Larry Brown can put up with AI, RC can get up with Artest. As long as they are winning, it will all be good.

I think if the team has another collapse, then Artest mgiht go, if he is one of the problems.

If he would go to the Knicks, I doubt it. It would be interesting to see if Larry Legend would take a personal fued over whats best for the orginization, but I dont think well even have to worry about that this season

Rick Carlisle is an old-school coach in a Player's League. He will take the Pacers far, if he can keep them in balance. If I'm a Pacers fan, I'm worried about this kind of heat after 20 games. Maybe it's nothing, but you don't air your laundry in the town square!

Thats true, but I do still beleive old school coaches work, in any league. parcells in Dallas is a great example

BUT...the NFL isn't as much of a Player's League as the NBA is. No guarenteed contracts in the NFL means that the players do not have the power. NBA players have ALL the power.
