I'm hoping the Spurs can get him. Pop can take Smith and instruct him, Duncan can mentor him, and Smith can assume the mantle of the next SA big.

But that's probably not happening. The Spurs can offer Splitter, Blair, S-Jax, and a first ... but Ferry is a SA guy as I recall so maybe he pulls a Jerry West and gives his old team a deep discount.

But Houston has leverage: cap room this summer to land Smith as a free agent. Limits the assets they are willing to part with now.

HAHA, that's be awesome. Lin, Harden, Smith ... that's a legit core. I totally pulled that trade off in my dynasty and it worked out for both teams.

The Suns are looking smart for sending Nash to the Lakers for those picks, aren't they?

And D12 is leaving the Lakers in the offseason. It's gonna be a rough next two seasons for the Lakers.

I was getting excited about the Rockets just getting Thomas Robinson, but if they're gonna end up flipping him for Josh Smith instead....woooooow. A Harden and Smith combo would be so much fun to watch.

Dwight Nash and Kobe are all older than Smith Harden and Lin.

Also injuries and egos won't be as big on this rockets team
