First, TAKING 10 TREYS IN A HALF IS EXCESSIVE. You can't compare that to Kobe getting hot over an entire game. If Mac jacked up 5 or 6 by the half, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Just like I said above, Mac doesn't get anyone else involved and the team suffers when they are called on to step-up. The whole Cavs team was in the offensive flow since tip-off. Now you expect Giricek, Lue etc. to all of a sudden be in an offensive flow after standing around for a half? Thats not gonna' win games.

Now, I'm not saying that the magic are a good team without T-Mac, but if he worked harder to get his teammates buckets, their confidence AND play improve, thats just a fact. And please don't bring MJ into this. That guy was a fantastic leader, motivator and offensive catalyst. He got more out of less talented teammates than anyone in NBA history.

Had 2 assists. Overall he's got decent ***. numbers, but for some guys, assists can be a little misleading. Starbury avgs more assists than Dre Miller over their carreers, but Miller does a better job of setting up the offense and managing the game, whereas Marbury is an aggressive scorer who racks up assists by drawing the defense. A Miller/Kidd type is always going to get more out his teammates than a Marbury type, no matter what the numbers say.
