Nah...He's just super-gifted and young. Its gotta be hard to discipline yourself when you absolutely KNOW you can beat the guy in front of you. He'll realize as his body starts to wear down that to win, you have to use your teammates. You gotta get at least 65-70 pts from your guys, and once he learns to CONSISTENTLY sacrifice a little of his offense for the good of the team, he'll be more successful.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

First, TAKING 10 TREYS IN A HALF IS EXCESSIVE. You can't compare that to Kobe getting hot over an entire game. If Mac jacked up 5 or 6 by the half, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Just like I said above, Mac doesn't get anyone else involved and the team suffers when they are called on to step-up. The whole Cavs team was in the offensive flow since tip-off. Now you expect Giricek, Lue etc. to all of a sudden be in an offensive flow after standing around for a half? Thats not gonna' win games.
Now, I'm not saying that the magic are a good team without T-Mac, but if he worked harder to get his teammates buckets, their confidence AND play improve, thats just a fact. And please don't bring MJ into this. That guy was a fantastic leader, motivator and offensive catalyst. He got more out of less talented teammates than anyone in NBA history.

I'm really confused on how this is any different than Kobe's moments last year. Kobe was hot, he shot, and exploded for a great game. Tmac was hot, he shot, and he exploded for a greaqt game. If you ask me, I think Tmac shouldn't have passed it like he did in the 2nd half. He should have taken over the game in that Kobe way. No one said anything when MJ did it. People talked when Kobe did it, but did he care, no, he just dominated. Tmac has to do the same thing. He is too good to just stop scoring and giving it to others who are a liabilities.Comment

kobe went for 40 nine straight games...thats a major difference than one hot game...tmac's berserka 3 point barrage is kinda better than kobe's since he went for 8 in a half and kobe had 11 or 12 across the whole gameComment

If you nail 8 threes in a row, keep shooting them. Why the [censored] would you pass?

because even if you hit 15 in a row thats still only 45 points and you need 85-90 to win. 15 treys in a row mean 15 or so minutes of INACTIVITY for your teammates. Notice the Orlando COLLAPSE in the 2nd half. 8 3's don't mean sh!t in a LOSS. As a matter of fact, they lost the LAST game that he went off from the arc didn't they? Notice a pattern?
MJ didn't win big until he became more of a team player, Kobe WON'T win(post-Lakers), T-Mac won't win, AI won't win until they become more unselfish. Period.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment
