Since you started a new thread, I'll just respond here...
1. If it's just February and before the All-Star break as you say and the games really don't mean much, then why do you keep referring to how the Pacers have the best record in the East? If my memory serves me correctly, this was the case last year and how far did it get them? Didn't they do a 2nd-half nosedive?
Oh, it was Isaiah's fault right.

2. JO was hurt. Really, he looked fine in the first half. They just played him tight down the stretch. The Knicks played without their leading scorer.
3. It was classless of Marbury to make a response. No, Jermaine O'Neal should've kept his comments to himself because now he looks even more foolish because what Marbury said was the truth.
4. You say Marbury hasn't exited the 1st round in his career or whatever. When was any Marbury-playoff team a higher seed and favored to win a round? Never.
5. The fans were celebrating excessively. First off, why shouldn't they. These are some of the most expensive tickets around the league and this team hasn't done a damn thing over the past years. Trust me, the atmosphere at MSG is unlike many around the league and it was a close game. Maybe it's just the difference between a small market and big market team as you say, but they have a right to celebrate or boo or chant for the Coach/GM/President to be fired. That's just how it is here.

Look, Reggie Miller is like Public Enemy #1. Everyone respects his ability as a player. But flipping off the crowd here and mocking them isn't easily forgotten. Until he's out the NBA, this rivalry will exist. It was a huge game because everyone knew how badly Isaiah wanted to win. Yes, it was just one game, but they said that Marbury and Isaiah were kinda emotional before the game started. It just carried over to the game. Skins4Life, did you forget how Ron Artest smashed up the cameras and facilities at MSG last year?
Jermaine O'Neal is on the same level as Marbury as far as playoff performance goes. If he needs bulletin board material for a 7th seed, then he needs to get his focus back.

1. No, it was Jamaal Tinsleys mom dieing, REggie Miller being injured, Jermaine's dad having a self inflected gun shot wound, all that mixed in with soome questionable caching moves. I dont see all of that happening again this yr
2. JO was hurt. If you are seriously calline me a lier, get a clue. HE missed the 2 previous games, with a neck injury. HE hadnt practced, and IMO, should not of played. He just wanst himself. With that said, he still took complete responsibilty for the loss
3. I know. MArbury still hasnt gotten out of the 1st round.
4. No argument. My only response is look at IT coaching record.
5. When in [censored] hell did I say that. I LOVE fans celebrating excessivly, even though I never accused htem of doing that. They pay $$, they can do wahtever the hell they want, as long as its within the NBA and stadium rules.
Did I forget about Ron Artest behavior, no. Did I ever say he did
and I wouldnt call this a ribalry, cause REggie was playing the last 2 years, and guess what, Indiana owned NY. A rivalry means that the games are at least competitive
