Do you HAVE to have 3 players exposed?
Here are the Suns:
Barbosa: Keep, if Vujanic comes, then he'll probably start, and Barbosa will go to the bench, but Barbosa has been playing excellent for us.
Randy Brown: Expose, waste of time.
Zarko: Keep, he's a great bench player.
Eisley: Expose.
Jacobsen: Keep: Hits 3 pointers like no tomorrow.
Joe Johnson: Keep, he's been brilliant lately, maybe it'll continue. He could be exposed though, to make room for a possible run at Kobe or QRich.
Lampe: Keep, this guy has major potential.
Marion: Obviously keep.
Stoudemire: Obviously keep.
Voskuhl: Keep. Excellent player, very very underrated. The guy plays his heart out.
Vujanic: Keep. This guy has potential apparently, gotta keep him.
White: Keep: Huge body, takes up space, and you can rely on him for 8 points, 7 or 8 boards, and a block a game.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
You don't even have their correct roster, how can you correctly predict who is going to be protected. Brown is retired and Vujanic doesn't count as a roster player, they just own his rights, thus he doesn't have to be protected.
10 Leandro Barbosa-Protect
11 Zarko Cabarkapa-Protect
12 Howard Eisley-Expose
24 Tom Gugliotta-FA
4 Donnell Harvey-Protect
23 Casey Jacobsen-Protect
2 Joe Johnson-Protect
30 Maciej Lampe-Protect
31 Shawn Marion-Protect
14 Antonio McDyess*-FA
32 Amare Stoudemire-Protect
43 Jake Voskuhl-Expose
55 Jahidi White-Expose
There is realistically what Phoenix will do.....

Re: In the expansion draft, who would you keep, and who would you expose?
orlando Magic
Protect -
T-Mac - obvious reasons
Gooden - One of our hopefully upcoming stars
Grant Hill - Too big of a risk if he does come back healthy
Juwan Howard - If hes still with us come then, hes too good to just let go.
Keith Bogans - One of our rising stars
ZaZa Pachulia - Great Talent
Pat Garity - great 3 point shooter when hes healthy.
I think Garicek is a free agent not sure about who else is, and I heard stirckland could be released soon.
Expose -
Steve Hunter - Worst center in the nba
Tyrone Lue - Didnt quite work out...wouldn't be bad as a backup, but the protected 8 i have are more important.
Shammond Williams - Great at 3's at times, but not good at running the offense.
Reece Gaines - Unless he gets playing time and shows me something good,he's been a bust so far.Comment

Would it be worth a first round pick to you guys to get out from under his contract? If it is, you could offer your first rounder in exchange for Charlotte taking Juwan. Then Charlotte could either keep him, or turn around and waive him with no penalty towards the luxury tax.Comment

Who can they get with the 4th pick though? Okafor is most likely a lock for top 3, and this draft calss doesn't really have all that much to offer. I don't follow College, but I do follow the hype around players (Tim Duncan, Lebron, Carmelo, AI< etc.). So far the only person i hear about in the draft is Okafor.Comment

No, what I'm saying is that Orlando would give Charlotte its first round pick, and in return Charlotte would select Howard in the Expansion Draft. Thus taking Juwan's contract off the books for Orlando. Its like bribery, only it legal.Comment
