this kid has been playing amazing, at only the age of 19! he dropped 35 points last night against the Lakers, but the refs inadvertant whistle messed the Nuggets over. He has more Total points, rebounds, free throws made &amp; attempted, 10 double-doubles this season, which is more than any other rookie. His team is currently in a playoff spot.he has less turnovers than LeBron James.

Its amazing not Chris Bosh or Chris Kaman having most total rebounds, but its 'Melo. For LeBron to be getting so much hype, he follows behind 'Melo in almost every stat.

'Melo definatly has outplayed the other rookies, and he has played every game. This is a true star!

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
And this is where I, the stat boy, comes in. First, Bosh doesn't have more total rebounds because he's only play in 50 games compared to Melo's 59. Look not into totals, but rather into *the stat* per game. Lebron is also a better passer and defensive man based on APG, SPG, and BPG. Their efficiency are pretty close as well, though LeBron is averaging a little bit higher. 18 (LeBron)to 16.66 (Melo').
There are other stats I can get into but the basic point for Melo' having higher totals than others is the fact that he's played more games than them.

plus melo has a better team than lebron is, its not really melo carrying his team, because his team was already better. I mean lebron james has carried more of a load than carmelo

That's one thing that will play into Lebron's favor. Denver has a much better team than Cleveland. Carmelo carries his team at times, while Lebron does it for most of the season.
