    Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread

Per Woj, Nets trade Tyshawn and money to the Pelicans for a future draft pick, and trade Toko Shengelia to the Bulls for Marcus Teague.

    Why? Who knows.

One bench warmer for another bench warmer so this doesn't make one iota of a difference for either team.

Basically a move I couldn't criticize if I wanted to because it'd be pointless and a waste of time.

I guess it makes sense. Teague has 2 more years left on his deal after this, and this Toko guy comes off after this year. I hope it works out for Teague. Average player who probably should've stayed 2-3 more years at Kentucky.

Granted both DWill and Lopez have injury issues, but not serious enough yet to make a trade like that IMO.

Your probably right that such a trade won't happen. However, if Billy King can get out of that DWill contract I bet you he would. Livingston is already proving to be most effective at the point.

Lopez is out for the year and who knows if he'll even be ready for 2014-15. Blatche is signed for 1 yr only and will look for his payday after the season. We all know how much JKidd loves BIGS too.

Not so crazy if you think about it but less likely that it will happen.

Nobody knows what Kidd loves at this point as far as positions go.

And trading Deron would be one of the stupidest things this Franchise could do at this point, especially only 2 years into this Brooklyn move. Same with Lopez too.

So all of a sudden Billy King would love to get out of D-Will's contract if he could? This dude traded for Joe Johnson's garbage *** contract and we think he's so desperate to get away from his star player's (and without question the best player on the team) cheaper deal, that he'd move him for ****ing Asik's no catching *** and flavor of the month from two years ago Lin? Yeah, these "sources" are turrible.

It didn't matter what the Rockets wanted considering we weren't going to move him anyway nor was he ever on the table anyway especially that was part of the reason why we made the deal in the summer in the first place.

Bill King shot down the rumor guys. It's not happening.

"They asked. It was a quick no." King said, according to sources.
