He's in the doghouse already? Wasn't he just playing double digit minutes not that long ago?

I know he had like a 3-4 game earlier this month where he only played like 6-7 minutes but for the most part I've seen him get around 12-14 minutes on average. Going off the top of my head here so I could be wrong.

beasley is probably getting rested too, since hes there only reliable shot creator off the bench next to cole. hes going to be useful for miami in the post season, especially with wade being as healthy as a 80 year old man with rheumatoid arthritis.

        Manu is out
UPDATE 4:57 pm: Turns out this was worse than the Spurs were letting on at first.
Manu Ginobili will be out 3-4 weeks, the team announced. Ginobili had an MRI on his leg Wednesday and it revealed the strain. The Spurs do not mess around with these injuries, preferring to rest their players more now and have them healthy in the playoffs than to win a couple more regular season games.
But San Antonio will miss Ginobili, who has been a leading candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year Award. The Spurs are 14 points per 100 possessions better than their opponents when he is on the court and that kind of production is just hard to replace. Even for the Spurs in their system.

Long term this sucks, getting real sick of injuries. Short term, this road trip is very much possible for finishing above .500 on it. We'll probably still lose to the Spurs tonight though lol

I wouldn't say doghouse but more to the fact that whenever he is on the court, the flow of the offense becomes somewhat out of sync. He'll often just set picks and sit outside the 3pt line although he doesn't attempt much (he'll either pass it or fake/drive, which in most cases will lead to a miss shot or get stripped). I really wish he would play with the kind of energy he had early on the season as he seems somewhat passive since his contract became guaranteed.

On another note, I really like Ira Winderman's idea of going after a defensive wing. Battier isn't as quick as he used to be and it'll also help take the burden off LeBron. Maybe a guy like Pietrus or Sam Young. James Johnson would've been a great coup.

I was reading Chad Ford's chat from earlier today, and usually it's about draft prospects, but somebody asked about the future of the Cavs front office, and Chad Ford went on a bit of a tangent but basically said he expects the Cavs are going to try to make a huge move at the deadline because apparently Kyrie Irving has been telling people in his circles that he wants out of Cleveland and they can't really afford to lose him after they already lost LeBron.

Edit: To clarify, the thinking is that they would trade for someone to make Kyrie happy, not trading Kyrie away.

LOL - that sounds very familiar...making a trade to make the Cleveland star happy.

At least give it some time, Kyrie. You're 22 and in the third year of your career. Unless Cleveland really is that unbearable of a place to live.

It might have worked if they were able to land Amare. He's still available Cleveland. Go get him!

Cleveland needs to do something with Waiters man. You can't have a guy that young with potential like that coming off the bench on a 16-29 team.

Lol this trade is probably a complete la la land deal, but I spent 15 minutes on it so I'm posing it regardless.

In some great news, one of the ESPN guys tweeted a response to somebody and said that the Milwaukee Bucks are very active in trade talks right now and specifically are trying to find a long term solution for the PG position.

Not sure who this could mean, but if we can get a guy like Rondo, Reggie Jackson, or Dennis Schroeder without trading away our 2014 1st round pick, I'd love to.

Or if we could just clear out cap space to overpay Eric Bledsoe and at least force the Suns to bite the bullet on him, I'd love to do that as well.

If it has anything to do with trading away any one of our youth, I've just become a Bulls fan.

I'd be alright with trading away pretty much anyone besides Giannis. If we flipped Larry or Henson for a guy that legitimately might be the PG of the future, I think that would be fine, though I can't imagine we'd be able to get anyone great.
