There's nothing wrong with Cousins. And he really is that good. We don't have any perimeter defense to speak of though, so his defensive shortcomings (though that's improved this season, it's still average) get highlighted more....

But when Cousins is the main one getting steals in the passing lanes....what the hell else is he supposed to do? He can't be everywhere AND score 30 points AND grab 10+ rebounds.



I don't really think there is a good fit for him anywhere because the teams I'd like to see him on don't really need that scoring punch or want their young big men to develop.

Maybe the Wizards. I'd really like to see him traded to the Wizards so he can re-unite with Wall though. With the spacing Cousins would provide Wall and Beal would have wider lanes to drive in and they'd finally have that low post scorer that NeNe failed to fulfill. I definitely think it would put the Wizards into that 6-8 range.

Question is what do the Wizards have that they are willing to give up that the Kings would want.

Now that they gave up their 1st round pick already for this year I would have problems seeing them get him. I'm willing to bet Wall/Beal/Porter are all untouchable, and without looking at their roster for guys on their last year of a deal, they don't have anything to get a guy of Cousins caliber.


Personally I wish it could happen though, because I'd love to see Wall and Cousins on the same team again.

Random thought. Whatever happen to the Eric Bledsoe for Aaron Afflalo trade. I was flabbergasted that deal didn't get done. It seemed like such a no brainer for both teams.

The Clippers need a good perimeter defender with the ability to hit the spot up three(3 and D) and the thought of a Bledsoe/Oladipo backcourt is a scary thing over the next 5-7 years. Oh well I guess it's better for every other team this trade didn't go through.

Eric Bledsoe plays for the Suns and is averaging 20/4/7. He isnt on the Clippers.
