Even if he does recover in the short term, it's the type of injury that lingers...especially for a 7 foot NBA player.

I was high on Embiid before, but this is rough.
MJ has had a similar injury during this sophomore year. However other bigs like Yao Ming and Big Z did as well. I guess the difference was that Jordan wasn't a 7 footer and he was much more athletic than the two. So perhaps the positive thing we can hope for is that unlike Yao and Big Z, Emiid is much more athletic than the 2 bigs and perhaps that could play a part in his recovery.

Other than 1984 and 2003 drafts, are there any others people think are worth watching highlights of again? NBATV showing some past drafts throughout the week so if it is a nice condensed version of the drafts,I might check some out.

this one effects the draft a little (admittedly not a whole lot):
Cavs are trading Jarrett Jack to the Nets and getting Marcus Thorton in return.

They are in talks, but nothing has been confirmed. Just so you know when you post "new" information you gotta post a link.

The Cavs will be making a mistake if they pick Parker imo. Neither guy is going to put them over the top now and Wiggins has the potential to be a star, I don't see that with Parker. Either way, it can't be as bad as picking Bennett last year lol.

These two get traded around our switch teams every year.

Chad Ford is on Sportscenter right now said Parker worked out for the Cavs on Friday and was overweight at 255 (11%) body fat. Said he didn't shoot well, got nervous and winded. Wasn't there some report that Parker showed great mental toughness at that workout? Lol

On the flipside said Wiggins shot the ball great in his workout with the Cavs and blew Gilbert away with his athleticism

I don't really take Chad Ford seriously but I don't doubt what he said.. he thinks Parker goes #1

                    Spears tweeted this yesterday:

@SpearsNBAYahoo Duke forward Jabari Parker showed his all-around skills & mental toughness in workout with Cavs but had some struggles shooting, sources said

Isaiah Austin was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome and his career is now over. So sad.

That has to just be devastating but his quote sounded positive and upbeat. Such an unfortunate story considering the player he was coming out of high school.

Damn, just read the scroll on NBATV. I feel so sad for the kid that he won't be able to achieve his dream.

Maybe he can find an assistant job at Baylor or on a NBA team.
