If I was them and they don't make a trade, just take Exum and hope Randle is around at 10.

If Exum is even half as good as some of his comparisons (Penny, Kobe) then he will have no issues playing SG. Randle takes pressure off Noel having to be a dominant rebounder. He could potentially develop a jumper, but for now he's a face and go player. Which could be great for P-N-R with Exum and MCW..

They already have a back up guard in Wroten, so sign a SF or trade Thad for one. All they need is a shooter.

im really hoping khem birch gets picked, and id love to see deonte burton sneak into the 1st round

@oj, just heard on espn radio bout an hour ago, they were talking to the guy who does clipper games on the radio, he said some scouts told him exum only wants to play PG

Who cares what he wants really though. This is a job and he has a boss lol.

He'll have the ball in his hands plenty, he and MCW would both control the ball IMO.. If his issue is defensively, then MCW can guard the shooting guards.

I'm not very big on Smart. Never even came and did a workout for us, plus we already have Trey, unless we're planning on a Burke/Smart/Hayward backcourt.

i dont think burke is in the future plans of utah if they take a PG. they obviously have a huge glaring need getting somene to start instead of marvin williams..but i think smart/hayward/favors could be real good together

I'm not very big on Smart. Never even came and did a workout for us, plus we already have Trey, unless we're planning on a Burke/Smart/Hayward backcourt.

I think Smart is a great prospect. He is a bulldog and is going to be a good defender in the NBA. He guarded Wiggins a lot of their 2 meetings and did a good job. He has an awful jump shot though. Most of the top guys do. Outside of Stauskus, McDermott, I feel like basically every prospect needs work on their shot.

Don't get me wrong, I think Smart is being slept on, but I don't like just giving up on Trey like that. Trey won us some ball games last year (that bastard) with some really clutch shots and playmaking.
