Melo is and has always been a volume scorer. How much has his game changed since he's been in the league? Only thing I've noticed is he's rebounding more but that could be due to all the minutes he's getting at the 4. Efficiency hasn't gotten better he's averaging career lows currently. His assists numbers remain low. Defensively he still the same. Melo is extremely overrated in my eyes. Is he a top 10 player? Yeah. Could he be a lot better? Definitely.

Yea Melo has had the weirdest drop of any player I've seen. Last year he was so good in those categorizes.

i think melo falls in love with the contested jumper far too often. he should be playing like lebron, in the paint abusing other SF's with his size..and its not like he doesnt have a post/interior game because weve all seen it

I kind of think the Knicks are missing Jason Kidd from the beginning of the season. I've always felt he brought something to the Knicks you can't really explain or measure. I thought the Knicks played more uptempo and better passing when he was in the starting line-up. It wasn't until he went into that shooting slump. That the Knicks started to really lose games (with the combination of Melo hurting his shoulder.) I thought they played much better defense with Kidd in the line-up.

Man... The Pacers are too hot. It's too early to be this hot lol. Is there such a thing?

I'm hoping it isn't long because like I said in my post he has played like the best PF in the NBA this year, and had some people ranking him right up there as the "best" in the NBA (Chad Ford had him 4th behind LeBron, KD and CP3).

Lets hope he can avoid injuries from now on, because he is already so good and still has enormous potential. He could honestly be the best player in the NBA in 5 years.

Plus Felton's been playing like total crap. Last night was the best he's looked all season so far, so maybe he's feeling better physically.

It can be the difference when you're surrounded by nothing but average talent/knuckleheads and your star player isn't that good to make others that much better.

Tyson covered up a lot of flaws for that team, especially on the defensive end, which is where most of their issues are at.

^^ It does, it's just a huge cluster****. I hate that the East is back to being a joke again so quickly. It was a fun few years of being semi-relevant again.

As much as I would love to see Melo and the Knicks part ways I still think he resigns because we'll be dumb enough to offer him the max and Melo's top priorities are 1) Money 2) Money 3) Money.

He can go ring chase when he's 36 years old, I'm sure he'll think this summer is too early to begin leaving money on the table.

Paul Pierce out 2-4 weeks with Broken Hand injury.

Damn, it seems like there's more Hand injuries this season than I can remember in previous years.
