Good news is that Aldridge can play with his back to the basket, but he does like to be around the perimeter.

Maybe they can do what Dallas did that one year because I don't think the Mavs scored in the paint much either when they won
It makes sense that they remind you of 2011 Dallas because Terry Stotts was the offensive assistant that year.

I think the Blazers are for real but I don't think they're good enough to get to the Finals. Lilliard is a top 10 point guard, Wesley Matthews is playing as well as I can remember, Batum has really come into his own, Aldridge is typical Aldridge and they've got some pretty solid depth too. And the Rose Garden is as tough a place to play as any. If they can win the Northwest, which is gonna be a serious challenge competing with OKC, I like their chances to make a run.

It's too bad the Blazers are winning. I was really looking forward to more articles suggesting Aldridge wants to be traded and Aldridge responding with vague comments.

It made the slow news days that much more entertaining.

Lamarcus Aldridge might finally get some spotlight this year. Sure we all know who he is, but the casual Nba fan doesn't know much about him. He's kind of been hidden down there in Portland, this guy would be an Nba favorite if he played in a major media market.
