Hornacek is a damn good coach. Amazing what can happen with a good coach, a GM with a vision, and young, athletic players.

I'm not particularly surprised we're playing so well thus far. Bledsoe and Dragic have been amazing together, and are gelling more and more each game.

Yeah, I wish Utah could have held on to him or even promote him to Head Coach over Corbin.

That being said, Corbin's done a solid job the past couple weeks. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go though, maybe to bring Sloan back or bring in a guy like George Karl.

Hornacek is a great coach. Helped a lot of guys in Utah, and it's really showing in Phoenix.

Also, while were talking about PHX, that Green/Plumlee for Scola swap isn't looking so one sided anymore. Plumlee is turning into a pretty nice player. Didn't see this coming from him...

Don't know if I'd say I wish we still had Plumlee because Scola has been a good fit for the Pacers, but I do wish we played Plumlee more than 55 minutes last year....

Not sure what you're arguing or disagreeing me with. He's an average PG(which there is quite a few roaming the league) with above average Defense for his position(which is the one thing he was always known for dating back to Kansas days), one of the best 3pt shooters in the league and for a team with 2-3 elite players, including one that's the best in the world, that's all you need. You don't need Chris Paul or Deron or Derrick or Russell or Wall or Kyrie or any other young and/or elite PG on that particular team.

But every year we(really just one person)have this same convo as if he's holding them back from winning 70 games or even running the tables and going undefeated. That's the kind of hyperbole I'm talking about.

All in all, he's a roleplayer and a middle of the pack PG. I'll stop right here because I don't want this thread to delve into arguing where an average PG ranks among the top 10 PGs in the league, a place he has no business being in.

I really don't see what Teague has anything to do with Chalmers.

Speaking of which, apparently Hinrich is out. Teague and DJ Augustine will be running point for, most likely, the next few games.

Not sure how Teague came up, either, but I wouldn't necessarily classify Chalmers as a scrub in terms of his play. He's kind of a scrub, though, all around. I know it's easy to pick on Chalmers - always getting yelled at, making boned headed plays - but he compliments Miami and he'd be a good starting option for the right teams. It's hard for individual recognition to get through in Miami, as evidenced by Bosh, and overall I agree with the idea that Mario isn't holding Miami back from even more greatness. He does his roll, and as is usually the case he could do better.

And I certainly ain't feeling that Goran Dragic comparison ha

I'm a Bulls fan so I guess the logic here is that I'll go homer and like Teague despite calling Chalmers a scrub. Welp, guess it's back to the drawing board on that one.

This is a prime example of why stats can often times be pointless..

He's a solid defender, good for their system, but nowhere near a top 10 overall defender in the league.

And he's probably only rated number 1 in the PnR because all Miami's bigs are good hedging out, maybe best in the league as far as all of their post players being able to hedge effectively.

I mean, he isn't a top 10 or 15 point guard, but he is a capable starter. I believe the past two years he's proven to be. Again, not a top guy or even close to it, but there's a lot of teams. Not every one of them is going to have a great point guard.
