Re: 1/2 - 1/6 Games Discussion Thread
In the defense of this whole flopping thing. I only care about it when players do it just to be doing it. Dudes like harden, lebron, chalmers, and so on, get me cuz these dudes do it whether they have the ball or not and will even do it on the defensive end. Durant doing it doesn't bother me as much because he usually only does it when the ball is in his hands and hes trying to get to the free throw line(at least ive never witnessed him flop for any other reason). And in his defense people use to rip him for not getting easier buckets, and considering hes not that strong hes just doing what he can to be more efficient. Which is why when harden does it, it doesn't bother me to bad, it just irks me when he doesn't have the ball in his hands and he tries to do it. Whether or not durant had contact on the knee or whatever, i don't know, if he was selling the call then that was excessive. But again it goes back to my point of the refs need to at least attempt to recognize flopping when it goes on, and penalize, since this flopping by players is such an eyesore. But your wrong if you think players are gonna stop, just cuz it looks tacky.Lakers

And no, obviously players aren't going to stop this blatant bullcrap, because officials fall for it more times than not. If players are getting free throws for cheap calls why would they stop?Comment

Re: 1/2 - 1/6 Games Discussion Thread
So basically you only mind when players you dont like do it? Durants are as bad as anyone elses...
everyone who does it is trying to get an advantage or get a call...they arent just doing it to do it..Comment

They could still give minutes of suspension after the game for the next game. Like if you've been convinced of flopping you're suspended 15 minutes of effective playtime for the next game.Comment

I still think refs don't have time to call flops during game. It could lead to some terrible misscalls.

Where at all did you get that out of my post? I said if players do it to get easier baskets then so be it. I hate flopping, but I can't blame players for doing it to get easy free throws, especially when we got refs calling fouls inconsistently. Some dudes live at the line while others can barely get there unless there punched in the face or some crap. If they gotta flop to get points then fine. I don't like it, but you gotta do what you gotta do to win games is my point.Lakers

Serious question.
Has Bogut always been so aggressive or is this a new thing to look tougher in a tough front court league?
I don't care that he's doing it. Just interesting to me to see him pushing down there and starting fights.

Re: 1/2 - 1/6 Games Discussion Thread
He's been doing that for a while AFAIK.
It just didn't noticed much because he was hurt most of the time so folks didn't get to see him as much and not too many people would notice him in GS or MIL since those teams were struggling for the most part up until recently(GSW).#RespectTheCultureComment
