I love CP3 to death, but it seems kinda fitting that it looks like he was injured tonight from trying to sell a call. I'm surprised that doesn't happen more often. I don't think it was his usual blatant flop, but it did look like he exaggerated the contact a bit and ended up hurting himself.

Hope he heals up quickly though. He's one of my favorite players to watch outside of the flopping.

Watching the Laker/Jazz game is just abysmal. Not sure why I'm subjecting myself to this. Staples Center sold out, you'd think the game meant something cuz the crowd is seriously loud as hell.

Was it that bad? Looking at the boxscore looks like the lakers had a pretty good game. Pau 23 17 and 8. Kendall Marshall 20 15 and 6 8/12 shooting.

Really glad for KM especially being a Tar Heel. I know he can't post stats like that every night but I think he will be a good player and wish my Celtics would have got him

Mavs blow another 4th quarter lead. Let the Clippers finish the game on a 16-2 run. Dirk said they weren't a playoff team after the game.

Also frustrating that Collison put up a better stat line against us than he did in 98% of the games he played with us.

Mavs blow another 4th quarter lead. Let the Clippers finish the game on a 16-2 run. Dirk said they weren't a playoff team after the game.

Also frustrating that Collison put up a better stat line against us than he did in 98% of the games he played with us.

I wonder why Dirk was getting all emo, they are a legit playoff team. They looked like a well-oiled machine last night despite the loss.

It's becoming a disconcerting trend with these blown leads. They've blown A LOT of second half leads so far this season. A lot of times they have hung on and won but they've dropped quite a few games that they were in control of with 6 minutes left. I'm hopeful that it will improve a bit when Devin Harris returns because the lack of perimeter defense with Calderon and Ellis has been a killer at times. The issue there however is taking the ball out of Calderon's hands in late game situations. As well as Monta has played and is still playing, he is still prone to make some iffy decisions late in games. And when you play defense as poorly as the Mavs do in these situations you have to make every possession count and they haven't been able to do that.

You're right though ex, the offense, especially recently, has been working about as well as I think anyone expected it to. I like the Mavs playoffs prospects, barring a long term injury to either Dirk, Monta or Jose before Harris returns. The only team below us I expect to really threaten is Minnesota. Denver is obviously on a down year and the Pelicans just can't seem to get healthy and I don't think they have the depth yet, same thing with the Lakers. Obviously the Kings and Jazz aren't going to be threatening for it. The Grizzlies are kind of the unknown though, I think they can still right the ship if they can just go .500 until Gasol returns.

Pacers with that typical dominate 3rd quarter to get out to a big lead. Been a trend this year.

Also Paul George really needs to know when his shot isn't falling and start driving to the basket more.
