I'm a hoop fanatic. I just watched a little league game that ended in a final score of 20-15 and had the time of my life, haha...so as long as the game is good, I am down...

In the very first line of his post he said "these are the best players in the world, how can you not enjoy regardless of which team it is"

So I guess if I can't enjoy Manny Harris, Sacre, Jodie Meeks, Kendall Marshall, Wes Johnson, Augustin, Snell, Ryan Kelly etc. etc. then there's something wrong with that

Again, I hope he isn't one of those one calling for contraction and saying the league is watered down.

Sometimes the actors aren't famous but the movie can still be good

Both rosters are pretty sad but the game was enjoyable. Lot of hustle, an overtime and a game winner. Far from an abomination.

First of all it's not like he's lying. They're in the NBA for a reason. Secondly, stating that fact isn't saying you have to be excited about them. His point about excitement was that if it's a good, competitive game (like this one was) there's some excitement to be had there, it doesn't matter who's playing or not.

He better not be one of the ones calling for contraction? Cool, but I know you damn well better not drag your behind into any of these threads clowning the NBA for "only promoting stars" and not showcasing enough teams and all this other **** after this. Because your argument right now is basically 'I don't care how good a game is, if LeBron, Kobe, Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin, Dirk, Carmelo, etc. isn't playing, it shouldn't be on tv.'

You're acting like the Celtics are that much better... Bulls, Lakers and Celtics are pretty close in terms of sucking.

To be fair, we're better than both of them, especially the Celtics. They can't even compete for the eighth seed in the east at this point.

I guess you don't understand the concept of relativity. Sure, these guys are really good at basketball, relatively speaking. Once they get to the pros, it's a different game. Again, I'm not going to enjoy Manny Harrris, Sacre, DJ Augistin, etc. etc. no matter how many buzzer beaters they hit to force overtime.

And nope, you didn't boil down my view correctly at all. Specifically, I said these Lakers and these Bulls are **** teams and an abomination. I said that in my very first posts. I wasn't talking about any other teams. This has nothing to do with the NBA only promoting stars and not showcasing enough teams. Do you not realize the Lakers and Bulls were on? This wasn't like the Raptors and Bucks

As of right now I think the lakers are the worst roster in the league. It's hard to beat. The only thing that separates it from beeing your typical D-League roster is Pau Gasol.

No one is saying those players are anything to get excited about. But you were acting like it's impossible to witness a good game involving a team those players are on, which just isn't true.

For me, yes a game involving those players will never get much of a response from me. OJ was saying that "these are the best players in the world," so basketball fans should enjoy it. I disagree. I'm not going to sit here and say I enjoy watching Manny Harris and Kendall Marshall go up against Dunleavy and Augustine, no matter if it's just bonus coverage or not.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get excited or you shouldn't enjoy it. I'm only speaking for myself, and if you disagree, cool. You seem to not understand that I can have my own opinion too, I'm not saying you should agree with me and I'm not trying to convince you to think like me. So what's true for you is great. Understand it's not a black and white thing.
