Pointless but people just likes to argue and making a big deal out of nothing. Miami's defense hasn't been good the last few games. That's all I meant. And it's not like the Heat isn't trying because the starters minus the injured ones are on the floor, playing heavy minutes. It doesn't mean they're done or they're a sinking ship, it means their defense hasn't been good the last few games. You don't have to put words in my mouth or make it seem I'am making a definitive statement.

Dwyane Wade wasn't even playing tonight. And it's not making a big deal out of nothing. You made a comment, I made a comment, you made it a "big deal" by trying to act like the Lakers were in the same boat as the Heat.

Anyone that watched the Nets/Knicks game? Was that Brooklyn chant just as loud on TV as it was in person? I know in person it was crazy loud.

At one point the crowd was chanting "Defense!" when the Knicks had the ball. Def had a good time there. Great seats and got a little TV time as well.

Be ready for a physical game. The refs were letting them play in the 2nd half. It was great. It was getting pretty chippy.

It was LATE when it ended here, but I couldn't pull myself away from it.

On a side note, I would say that Bogut has a meniscus issue, basing off of his knee injury last night. He finished the game, but where he was pressing and rubbing on his knee, I'd almost be positive that it's a meniscus issue.

It was pretty audible. The announcers were acting like it was the worst travesty to ever happen to the Knicks though lol

Starting to feel bad for Carmelo at this point. Chandler looks as bad as he ever has, JR is gonna JR, Prigioni is a solid point guard, but he's not a good fit for this team, MWP is done, Shumpert seems to have regressed, especially offensively and Bargnani is the same Bargnani we all know and love. Couple it with Woodson's apparently ineptitude and inability to get along with his own players and it's a really bad situation for one of the best players in the game to be in.

At least Hardaway Jr. looks like he'll be a nice player going forward. But knowing Dolan he'll probably get traded.

Well, I guess I do? Lol. Again, it's your opinion if you like to watch these ****ty teams go at it. I am not at all going to stand in your way. It's none of my business what you like and what you spend your time doing. Me personally, my eyes strained when the Bulls and Lakers came on my screen and I wasn't expecting to see that crap.

I'll be honest I love watching "****ty teams" play. Though I didn't watch tonight's game. But if it was really a good game as they said it was then what's the problem with it being on TV.

For me personally, I see enough of the good teams play. I know what they do, I know what the great players are going to do, and I know which teams/players will be all over sports center, NBAtv, and all the highlight reels every day.

If I get to see two teams I don't see play that often, or bad teams with young talent I enjoy the change of pace. And if its a great game on top of that its even better. Excitement in basketball doesn't always have to come from playoff teams.
Why are you stating the obvious? Of course these are the best players in the world. Relatively speaking, what the Bulls and Lakers have been reduced to is garbage. And this wasn't a case of teams you don't see often. In case you haven't noticed, the Lakers and Bulls are on almost every other night polluting the airwaves. Again, it's my opinion that it's pollution, if you don't think so, then by all means, continue to watch.

Oh, and don't question anyone's basketball fandom

You're telling me I have to like watching whichever team is playing? The logic in that is suspect. I guess Barkley, The Jet and Shaq aren't fans of basketball considering they pretty much do this to 75% of the teams in the league, Barkley does it to 90% of the league.

Please. Miss me with the "if you're a basketball fan"

I guess there's a written rule in a book for being a true fan of basketball

Well I don't know if the ITNBA crew is the best example...

They cover the sport professionally and often forget peoples names and who they play for....they have a freakin' segment about it

"OKC shoots too many jumpers" "Miami aint getting any taller" "Blake Griffin needs to work on his post game" "Dwight isnt getting any better"

is the extent of coverage you get from that show...

I doubt it, but if you can find quotes go for it.

Also, OJ better not be one of those guys who calls for contraction. Or says the league is watered down.

OJ thinking that Manny Harris, Sacre, Snell, Dunleavy, Augustin, Wes Johnson, Kendall Marshall and Jodie Meeks is something to get excited about.

You're missing the point. I'm saying there is no written rule as to what it means to be a fan of basketball. You don't have to enjoy X amount of teams. Like I said, if you enjoy the teams, by all means, go watch them til your heart is content.

OJ trying to put down standards and rules. "If you're a fan of basketball". Just because I don't enjoy watching a D-League team in the Lakers, vs. a D-League team with Noah in the Bulls, doesn't mean I am not a fan of basketball. It's just my opinion that they're **** teams and I don't find it entertaining to watch that.
