The way it was mentioned that the Wolves would be nothing without Garnett, is that saying that the Spurs would do ok without Duncan?
I think both teams are capable of winning a few games without Tim and KG but look at each star's main help.

So while some might argue that the reason Spree and Cassell are getting those stats is because they are feeding off their star in KG, some may also argue that it's that extra help that accounts for the success of the Wolves. Which, by the way is only about 1 game ahead of the Spurs who had Duncan missing for about 12 games.

Don't get me wrong, I won't be disappointed if KG gets it (which he probably will) but it's not as clear cut as some may make out.
