today was an absolute disgrace for the bucks but i still stand by my prediction they can take this series 6 games. i dont think the bucks will play any worse than they did today.

Re: Pistons vs. Bucks: First Round Thread
Like I said before, not having a true, quick point guard who can control the game tempo will kill the Bucks. 25 turnovers and a sh#tload of steals = Bucks death. This won't change. The only hope Milwakee has is if the Wallace's get hurt. The NBA is all about matchups and Milwakee's strengths and weaknesses play right into Detroit's hands. Detroit loves these types of finese teams.Comment

Not playing worse than today isnt saying much. You better hope they play 100x better than today if you expect them to win one game.Comment

Re: Pistons vs. Bucks: First Round Thread
Man, the Bucks stunk it up in the third.
And as much as I like how the Bucks have played this year, they don't stand a chance against the Pistons. Just like the Grizz don't against the Spurs, but I like to try to hope for them anyways.
No one has looked at the Buck much this year, and they surprised a lot of people. But since TJ went down, they just aren't the same team. They lost a lot of games after that. They came into the postseason on low notes, losing 3 in a row. That's not a good sign. The Pistons are just too much for this team. Hopefully they make it closer tho, but I doubt it.Comment

Re: Pistons vs. Bucks: First Round Thread
I know it won't mean anything to the blinder wearing Melo loyalists out there. However, if you watched game one, you got an indication of why the Pistons felt comfortable in taking the risk on Darko over Melo. Tayshaun Prince scored 14 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked four shots. He also spent a lot of time defending Michael Redd (who only scored 11 points). Melo might give you 10 or 12 more points, but he is not going to give you half of those boards, and Redd likely would have scored 10 more himself.

You can't if you look at it with an open mind. Detroit took who was the best for THEIR team, that is what the draft is about. Trust me, there were better players on the board than Sweetney when the Knicks picked, but Sweetney was the best of the remaining that would fit the Knicks team at the time.Comment
