Jason Kidd, class act! never mentioned or would answer any questions about an injury at all. I respect him again, after that stupid wife crap he had, he's regained that

Yeah, the guy is classy. He made one mistake with his wife, but has cleaned himself up. Every person makes mistakes, it's unfair to judge a person by their mistakes.

I dont want to hear ANYTHING about injuries and what would have happened if Kidd wasnt hurt. Last year the Pistons were banged up, and we had to listen for a year about how Ben Wallace was over-rated because Kmart outplayed him while Ben was playing on 1 leg. Thats the breaks...

Great win! Gut check! I'll be very iterested to see what the Nets do in the off-season. They definately need to bolster that bench.

No... judging is not the way to go, BUT if you are going to judge....by someone's mistakes is the BEST way to do it!

Also....you don't mistakingly beat up your wife....

"Whoops...I slipped and beat my wife's [censored]!"

Either way... Kidd is a helluva a ball player when he stops taking jumpers.

Re: Pistons vs. Nets: Second Round Thread

That was a great game to be at if you are a Pistons fan (Poor Jay-Z looked sad). The place was so loud last night it was unreal. When I was at game 5 and Billups sent it to OT I thought the place could not get any louder, well I was wrong. It was a hard fought series and both teams played well.

Now I have some questions for the Nets fans and please do not take these as me trying to be a prick.

Has the Nets half court offense always been this bad? It seems like they would get into a set with about 12 seconds on the shot clock stand around for a few more and then fire up a bad looker jump shot if the back door cuts were not available.

I know that Kidd is amazing in the open court and NJ fast break is second to none but what do you think the reason is for the bad 1/2 court sets.

---- Is Kidd bad at running the show in the half court?

---- Is Frnak bad at coaching a 1/2 court game?

---- Are the Nets just bad jump shooters?

                        ---- Combination of the above?

Again I am not trying to be a prick, I am just looking for some info and figured the people who watched most of thier games would be the most insightful.

Man, watching that 1/2 court offense for 7 games was a thing of beauty

It's funny that you say the Nets have a lot of work to do when they could have closed out the Pistons at home in Game 6, even with Jason Kidd not having a back or knees. After destroying the Pistons in Game 3 and 4 and then winning the amazing Game 5, the Nets should have won this series. I would sign Vlade Divac to train Nenad Krstic, bolstering the Nets big men by having Krstic and Collins come off the bench.
