Dunno how our why it happened but I was talking about him at work even before the playoffs started.

Dude's game just vanished, his confidence gone. He's been playing horrible. Not just in this series, he's been playing bad since their end of the season bad stretch they had.

Its just a collapse man, individually and team wise and I have no idea why.

If they lose and Vogel is fired then im sure something will come out but they have done a good job of keeping it indoors. Its just that internalizing it has turned into a problem anyway and it came out in their game.

I agree man..but Hibbert is tall enough to get more than 2 rebounds consistently without even trying.

How long before Hibbert starts getting the Lopez treatment?

I don't know about the Lopez treatment, but he's basically been getting the Kwame Brown treatment for a month now lol.

Anyways, is it just me or does anyone find it pretty amazing how easy of a 3-peat this could be for Miami? I mean not even in terms of teams competing against them, because it was already pretty much a forgone conclusion that the East was going to suck, but I'm talking more so just in terms of pressure.

With the Sterling controversy and Indiana's implosion among other things, it seems like Miami is just quietly going about their business. Obviously things are going to get a little more difficult from here on out, especially if they play Brooklyn in round 2, but it really seems like things couldn't have lined up any better for them.

I was so happy to see Hibbert blossom after a long beginning and finally having the Pacers leave the Jailers era behind, but this is a damn joke on the starting unit. It's sad to watch this team go from the best team in the league to one of the worst.
NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers
                      NBA: Indiana Pacers
                      MLB: Cleveland Indians
                      NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers
                      NASCAR: Ryan Newman

One day, Purdue Men's Basketball and Football will become relevant again.

I don't think they'll have an easy Finals because any team from the West is going to be tough as hell and better than any team Miami could possibly face in the East.

And I meant specifically for a team going for their third title in a row. I can't remember the Shaq/Kobe Lakers or Jordan's Bulls having it seemingly this easy.

Wizards could make it interesting versus that Miami team this year. I think if Miami makes it to the finals they win it all though. Just look at how the top west teams struggle to pass the first round... Such a long journey to the finals for them.

The league definately has to find a way to balance thngs out. It's just unfair right now.

Lopez got flak for being 7 ft and not being able to grab at least 7-8 rebs and got labeled "soft" in some cases and to be fair, some of it is/was justified. Hibbert hasn't done it as much as Brook has but he's approaching that territory, especially if he continues it well into next season as well.

I think it's similar for Bulls and Heat teams.. With the current Heat team the only big struggles they even have are match-ups with Chalmers and Bosh, there just isn't enough great SG and SF's in the league to be a serious threat to Wade and James, until they reach the finals.. Not this year, but every year.

Same with the Bulls, big men and guards gave them issues, but Jordan and Pippen were by a long shot the best at their positions, especially during the 2nd 3-peat.

Outside of pesky defenders, example Starks on Jordan, or Butler/PG on LeBron they particularly have been able to dominate and lead their teams to the finals each year.

It's ironic that the keys to being a great team seem to always be a great big man and a great point guard... Both these dynasties have been able to stay atop the league without either.. It's easier when you have the best player in the world, like both those groups, but in both cases it's been about more than just one player.. Both these teams found a way to crack the traditional mold and still win.
