Re: 2014 Eastern Conference Playoffs -1st Round Discussion Thread
Raptors Fans, wasn't there a stat out there saying that DeRozan is more effective from his right in addition to attacking the basket as well? Don't think I seen too many times where he went right today.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 Eastern Conference Playoffs -1st Round Discussion Thread
Neither team played that good today, both had great defense, and Nets with clutch offense, but Raptors offense was pathetic. This was probably the worst offense I've seen out of Raptors all season long(and this includes Raptors before the trade).
They better pick it up for rest of the series. First game out of the way, now they need to get playoff ready and stop making stupid mistakes.Comment

Yeah some of the long 3 pt attempts were a bit frustrating. I was left scratching my head many a time because of that.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I think there were a few times but I'm not sure. Honestly, he just needs to attack attack attack and get those foul calls. He needs to use his ridiculous athleticism and be aggressive and useful rather than being Rudy Gay circa Fall."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2014 Eastern Conference Playoffs -1st Round Discussion Thread
While lots of people were blaming the refs for some bad calls, and there were some horrible calls(Williams flop near the beginning of the game,Pierces big time traveling,KG hacking JV), I don't blame refs for outcome of this game at all, it was solely on Raptors hands for the loss. Anyone to blame, it's themselves for it. They had so many chances to take the lead and run with it,but they kept on messing up.
The result had more to do with Raptors inexperience than the Nets experience. Raptors inexperience lead to lots of sloppy play from their guys. First quarter specifically. Second quarter onwards it was a real close game, but first quarter is when Raptors basically doomed themselves.Comment

16% from 3pt range today.
We can't win the rest of the way shooting THAT poorly from behind the arc. Gotta fix that.#RespectTheCultureComment

I'll go ahead and assume that you didn't read my other comments and that I think the Raptors would have won this game if not for the refs."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
