This is what I'm saying too.. It's like people just expect them to be able to grab whatever star they want, it's not that easy.. It might work, it might not.. But I think they at least have to take the gamble this offseason.. If they can't land Melo bring in a couple guys who can together equal what he brings, I don't think the only answer is to land a superstar. Especially if Rose is playing like Rose.

I think they need to pick their core and everybody else is expendable to work their way to what they need. They could pick at least 4 guys playing now they want to move ahead in the future with. Just hoping Rose comes back healthy going forward might not be the most prudent thing... they need more scoring man.

One key that I dont think the announcers have mentioned is Wittman switching Ariza on DJ. Havent heard much from DJ since then.

CSN commentary mentioned the switch and said Trevor should fight through the picks and screens better. He proved them right.

I think they need to pick their core and everybody else is expendable to work their way to what they need. They could pick at least 4 guys playing now they want to move ahead in the future with. Just hoping Rose comes back healthy going forward might not be the most prudent thing... they need more scoring man.

They already have that. Everybody on the roster but Noah is expendable to them and even Noah the rumblings are that the right offer they'll take. They aren't just sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting for Derrick.

Definitely need more scoring, I'm just not sure landing Melo is the only answer. Though it should be their priority moving forward, but if it doesn't happen I think they can sign some pieces.. Getting rid of Boozer is the main priority for sure. Kinda sucks they have to let him walk, they might have been able to get at least something for him a couple seasons ago.

I wouldn't trade Noah to be honest, but there seems to have been some stalling and pandering that the Bulls did for a number of years that ended up not paying off. Why did they even let Nate go? Was it because Hinrich is cheaper?
