Re: Tmac & Kobe are overrated.

Ok, I'll try to be more serious. Also, my first post wasn't meant as a personal attack.

Guards shooting 40%-45% in a season is pretty good considering they don't score in the paint as much as centers or forwards. I agree there's no excuse for Kobe shooting bad but to judge him based on this year's playoffs is unfair. T-Mac shooting 42% is pretty damn good considering that he's the only ONE consistently scoring for the Magic and their only real threat. Passing isn't his forte but he can dish with some of the best. Also, T-Mac wasn't even the one guarding LeBron in their games so I don't get why him scoring 30+ points is T-Mac's fault.

There's also zone defenses, which forces them to take more jumpshots than getting dunks/layups. Kobe and T-Mac have shown they belong in the same breadth as KG, Duncan, and Shaq. One season doesn't define their abilities and overall career. Finally, I think they're both better than Pippen offensively and probably even surpass Drexler. Also, ALL of them can't even be compared to Jordan. That guy was just special and incomparable.

i never really understood the argument of shooting percentages...why is that so important to some...

like 2 yrs ago...pierce's shooting percentage wasnt high...but he scored the most points in the 4th period more than anyone else...shouldnt that matter more
