It's a regular season award so nothing Aldridge did in the playoffs should factor into the voters decision.
You looking at the Chair MAN!

Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.

First round of the playoffs isn't factored into the voting process.

Considering LeBron said Durant should win it pretty much put the icing on the cake

I mean if my boy LeBron I wouldn't be mad either I love Both James and Durant

Durant has plenty more MVPs coming his way

I would have voted LeBron, but I'm not surprised KD won. Eventually Karl Malone beat MJ. Dominance gets boring after a while.

Bummer, looks like Michael Smith didn't get a vote (aka the guy who accidentally mistook his Most Improved Player ballot for MVP).

That explains it then, Aldridge probably would have won if they counted the first round of the playoffs.

Or LeBron since he had a better regular season and is the leading scorer in the playoffs thus far, and got a sweep rather than going 7 games. But none of that matters anyways lol.

Congrats to KD it was well deserved..just saw all of KD's speech and wow....was a hell of a speech. I know it's said that these players shouldn't need motivation in the play-offs and that may be true but after that speech if his players aren't more motivated to play even harder something is wrong. Hell I wish I could suit up and play for him.

I think KD's season made it pretty clear that it was his dominance, rather than the media tiring of LeBron's, that won him the MVP.

                          KD's speech had me.

Loved that P.G. County, MD mention.

Some people believe that the best player in the league should win every year, with numbers and team record not playing as big of a factor. My guess would be that's his angle.

For anyone who has not saw the speech it's definitely worth watching.

Edit: Finally found the full length. The 10 minute videos all over YouTube are not the full speech.
